Would not use this company for insurance again, constant letters demanding information I have never had to give getting motor insurance, threatening text message saying insurance will be stopped if not received at 4 pm.poor service. Absolutely vile company avoid at all cost then they have the cheek to remove 300 in cancellation that they caused absolutely shocking company avoid it will cost you more

Terrible company, all nice until they’ve got your money then threaten to cancel your insurance when they haven’t received documentation in unrealistic time! Very intrusive questions and ask for sensitive information, even want your NI number!? Wonder what for?! Would definitely avoid

Disgraceful company. Cancelled policy before it started due to rude staff, 4 weeks later I’m still waiting for a refund, arrogant staff say “it’s 6 weeks for a refund”. Honestly the most disrespectful bunch of people to ever work in customer service.

Not worth the hassle - requested loads of copies of documents, National insurance numbers, DVLA check codes - use someone else and avoid at all costs!!!

Very 'nice' until they've got your money. Terribly intrusive questions and demands for copies of all sorts of documents. They even check your licence as if they are you with the DVLA after getting your NI number, which is an offence, all under the banner of 'saving you a job'. When you decide their requests are unreasonable and cancel within the 14 day cooling off period, they fine you £25. Rude and argumentative when requesting a refund with 'up to six weeks to process'. They answer emails within a blistering 10 days .... Be careful, it's easy to be sucked in by cheap quotes that quickly go up. They ask you to sign a contract which allows them to charge your card (that's kept on file) as they see fit. Their contract is crammed with unreasonable rules that seem to shout, 'we will always find a way not to pay'. You've been warned.

Just renewed, nothing like being spoken to like a 5 year old ref uploading of documents and them allegedly not reveiving my proof which i know had been reveived... think this will be my final year with @staveleyhead ...🤔 I've been with Staveley for many years now and find them really professional and always very helpful..I've recommended to many people and they too have taken up their insurance..shame they dont offer an incentive for recommendations 😏

Avoid ......Gave 19 Years No claim Taxi Bonus and they issue max 7 and will not even issue a no claims bonus letter won't even give a covering letter to explain issue total thing was a nightmare when I took the policy as the wordings for the insurance did not meet my criteria so it would not get accepted by major app based platforms. Never Again !

I’d leave zero stars if I could….. I urge everyone to just look down the reviews and then move on to a real insurance company!!! I’m not even going to go into my dealings with them and I have waved goodbye to the FULL years premium I paid only to have my cover cancelled 43 days after it started. However I do encourage you all to cast an eye over there lovely responses to positive reviews and the TOTAL lack of response to any negative reviews !!!!!! I HAVE A 30 YEAR UNBLEMISHED DRIVING HISTORY, NEVER HAVE I EVER DEALT WITH SUCH A DISGUSTING COMPANY. NO CUSTOMER CARE, NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS JUST BULLY BOY TACTICS. THE AMOUNT OF INFO THEY START DEMANDING (WITH NO PLEASE OR THANK YOUS) AFTER A FEW HOURS IS UNBELIEVABLE. THEY CLAIM TO BE A HAPPY FAMILY RUN BUSINESS, THIS IS NOT THE CASE, THEY MAY OFFER THE CHEAPEST QUOTE.. PLEASE PAY A LITTLE EXTRA AND SHOP ELSEWHERE (YOU WILL BE TREATED BETTER BY THEIR RIVALS). BEWARE OF THE SMALL PRINT, LOTS OF HIDDEN CHARGES, I HOPE KARMA CATCHES UP WITH THESE FRAUDSTERS ONE DAY.

After one month of there computer says no when uploading my info , Eg brand new motorhome and they are insisting that I send the mot yet you do not receive one for 3 years , I cancelled and they charged me, £169 for one months insurance £89 cancellation fee £39.99 admin charge as the computer did auto fill on my wife’s name and put mine instead , £20 opt out early This company is an absolute joke and the sarcastic member of staff on the phone to top it off , Avoid at all cost

Seems a common trend looking at reviews.....£39.50 to change registration number as I assigned my own one to motorhome. Won't be using this company again.... Fair enough a bit admin involved but hitting a couple keys on a keyboard n sending an email doesn't warrant being ripped off to that extreme cost!

I've never had to provide so many things to an insurance company. First year it was engineers report, which isn't easy to get, photos, utility bills loads of stuff. At the second year renewal it was driving licence details national insurance numbers and caravan club card details which I hadn't got yet as I'd just joined. The quote was competitive but just be aware you have to provide lots of information.

I got the lowest price for my new motorhome insurance but they wanted so much personal information I wondered if I should have gone somewhere else, they ask for irrelevant information, national insurance number, copy of driving licences both sides, copy on V5 all sides, proof of address, I thought they were trying to steal my identity!!

Absolutely avoid at all costs. A complete minefield to deal with. Cost me £280 to cancel after 2 weeks insurance when I was told it would be £85 to cancel!

Complete scammers!!! and all the 1 stars are correct so do believe them (we gave them the benefit of doubt) and its always the same scam before you get chance to review them through the comparison site BE WARNED!!!
