The Garden opens to the public annually after a winter rest. In 2025, it is set to reopen on February 22nd, welcoming visitors with various seasonal hours. During February, the hours are:

Bellísimo Jardín Botánico para recorrer en dos o tres horas, tomándose tiempo para apreciar los distintos espacios y las variadas especies. Muy cuidado y amigable para todas las edades. Un pequeño paraíso en el corazón de Zagreb.

Leuk om doorheen te wandelen maar het is duidelijk niet 'de trots van Zagreb'.

Mooie plek in het centrum van Zagreb. Veel verschillende planten en insecten. Entree is 2 euro en met studentenkaart krijg je korting. Tijdens het bezoek was er ook een tentoonstelling. Je kunt hier nergens zitten om iets te drinken, dat zou het nog beter maken.

This park is really beautiful, very well kept and clean. It amazing, there are also places where you can rest and take in the calmness of this park.

After seeing many parts of upper town, it was a refreshing change to visit the botanical garden to see some beautiful garden and flowers. We felt the garden was okay but can do more to capitalise it's full potential. We thought it rendition of the Japanese Garden was big failure. It was no where like a Japanese Garden at all. They to do more research or consult with Japanese residence in Zagreb to under it better and improved on it. The garden was also a bit run down and disorganised. Need for proper landscaping design and maintenance.
