Dobrodošli v Vinski kleti Žorž 1696, kjer tradicija in sodobna tehnologija združujejo svoje moči za ustvarjanje vrhunskih vin v prečudoviti Vipavski dolini. Naša zgodovina sega nazaj v leto 1696, kar nas postavlja med najstarejše kleti v tem območju.
Naša Tradicija
Družina Žorž se že pet generacij ukvarja z vinogradništvom in vinarstvom. S ponosom upravljamo eno izmed večjih družinskih kmetij v Vipavski dolini, kjer na 12 hektarjih gojimo različne vinske sorte, med katerimi so tako rdeče (merlot, cabernet sauvignon, barbera) kot bele (sivi pinot, sauvignon, rumeni muškat, malvazija, rizling, rebula), poleg tega pa vsebujejo tudi avtohtoni sorti zelen in pinela.
Vrhunskost naših vin
Naša klet je opremljena s sodobno vinarsko tehnologijo, ki nam omogoča pridelavo vin izjemne kakovosti. Specializirali smo se v proizvodnji zdravih in naravi prijaznih vin, kar potrjujemo z ekološko certifikacijo, ki smo jo pridobili od leta 2015. Naša vina ponujajo bogate okuse in vonje, ki bodo zadovoljili tudi najzahtevnejše vinske navdušence.
Obisk kleti in degustacije
Vabimo vas, da obiščete našo klet in spoznate našo ponosno tradicijo in kakovost vin. Organiziramo degustacije vin, ki jih dopolnjujemo z domačimi suhomesnatimi proizvodi. Ogledi in degustacije so na voljo:

Nastanitev
Poleg vinskih degustacij ponujamo tudi butične sobe za vašo udobno prenočitev. Sobe so opremljene s klimatsko napravo, TV z ravnim zaslonom, ter lastno kopalnico. Vsako jutro vam postrežemo z kontinentalnim ali samopostrežnim zajtrkom, kar zagotavlja prijeten začetek dneva.

We stayed here two nights. The location is excellent, close to several wineries in a quiet town. The room was clean and functional. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh eggs cooked to order. The hostess was very nice and welcoming. We found the bed to be too hard, but understand that can be typical of this part of the world. For us it meant less than restful sleep. We had a wine tasting on the last night. Unfortunately the person doing the wine tasting was distracted by something and appeared to forget us for long periods at times. Which was a shame because it took away from the experience. Because it is harvest season we could not see the cellar. Overall the family running the place were kind and made us feel welcome.

I was expecting more! The wine was good. But...all wines were served in the same glass, the explinations were poor and brief, the tasting room did not create the wine tasting atmosphere. The cellar does not look like a winery cellar. The accomodation was too pricey for the basic look. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and carreful.

Wijn was goed, maar de gastheer voelde zich duidelijk niet goed en vertrok na uitleg over de eerste wijn. Hij had even wat water nodig, prima! Maar vervolgens werd er alleen nog wijn ingeschonken zonder er iets bij te vertellen. We moesten zelf nog vragen welke wijn we in ons glas hadden. Had een leuke ervaring moeten worden, viel zwaar tegen. Kamers zijn goed (matras matig), de wijn ook. We kregen als compensatie de extra consumpties van het huis, dat was heel netjes. Maar voor ons helaas toch een tegenvaller omdat we echt kwamen voor de wijnproeverij.

Ein großes schön gelegenes Weingut. Netter und schneller Kontakt. Wir durften auch unseren Hund mitbringen. (Ausschließlich trockene) Weine von hoher Qualität aus ökologischem Anbau. Leider fehlt uns die Herzlichkeit und Leidenschaft, die wir bei anderen Winzern in Slowenien erfahren durften. Die Informationen wurden zwar überaus freundlich übermittelt, jedoch wirkten die Texte auswendig gelernt. Auch den Degustationsraum empfanden wir als eher ungemütlich für ein so schönes Weingut. Wir wurden viel alleine gelassen und hatten kaum Gelegenheit Fragen zu stellen. Falsche Infos zum Cognac, das kann natürlich mal passieren. Für das Gebotene, trotz Snacks, vergleichsweise zu teuer.

We stayed here for a night and took part in their evening wine tasting. The rooms were clean, spacious and just upstairs from the tasting. The wines were great, the platter was incredible and the history and stories behind all their family-owned wines is incredible to learn about. Great experience!

Todella kodikas ja mukava viinitila. Huone oli siisti ja lähes uusi. Ilmastointi ehdoton plussa. Palvelu oli erittäin hyvää ja pitäjä perhe erittäin mukava. Viininmaistelu oli rento ja herkullinen. Meille kerrottiin paikan historiasta ja heidän viinien teko prosessista. Aamupala oli hyvä, hinta-laatusuhde kunnossa. 50 metrin päästä löytyy myös ilmainen parkkipaikka.

Went for a wine tasting here and it was a really excellent evening. Anja clearly loves what she does and takes great pride in sharing the history of the place with guests. Wines and food of top class.
