Booked a rental car through booking.com for our week stay in Pula, Croatia. The overall cost was fair, as you go along £35 extra for my wife to drive. £60 each for car seats, we needed two. Got to the airport, greeted by two (rude) members of staff. Shrugged shoulders when we said about the car seats and said they can’t help us. I found my original booking ‘luckily’ and then they managed to find us two seats. At this point we were just happy to get away to our accommodation. Car seats were not fit for purpose. Got back week later, lad checked car over and said, ‘all good’. In to be greeted by the same ‘rude’ members of staff. Tried telling us that we owed 15 euro for cleaning the car. ‘New company policy’ we disagreed as the car was clean, just dust etc then they were laughing at us. I would not recommend using these people

They wait until you arrive to tell you they don't take American Express, so you get no car but they keep the money. Classic scam. Just use a trusted car company, they're more expensive but ends up cheaper because they don't rely on scamming you to make money.

Charge €10 as “car wasn’t clean”. Car was absolutely fine. They did this to a few people also dropping cars back at the same time. Must do it with everyone. Be aware. Other than that- fine.

Polecam! Rezerwacje dokonaliśmy przez booking. Ze względu na brak karty kredytowej dopłaciliśmy 100 euro ubezpieczenia i mogliśmy wynająć samochód bez problemu. Nie płaciliśmy depozytu. Cały wynajem na 5 dni wyszedł nas 125 euro!

scam, dopo aver pagato tutto compresa l’assicurazione e il prezzo in più per i guidatori inferiori a una certa età abbiamo dovuto pagare un’altra assicurazione e voleva che pagassimo altro surplus per il guidatore inferiore ai 25 anni (che facendole notare che non potevano farcelo pagare ha deciso di “chiudere un occhio”) e poi anche un extra se esci dalla croazia nonostante avessimo chiamato l’agenzia e avevano detto che potevamo spostarci dalla croazia senza problemi e senza costi aggiuntivi, truffa totale
