Lijepa građevina povijesno-kulturne vrijednosti, poznata i kao Meštrovićev paviljon. Zgrada je izgrađena 1. 12. 1938., od velikog hrvatskog kipara, arhitekte i književnika Ivana Meštrovića (1883. - 1962.). Od 2001. je sjedište Hrvatskog društva likovnih umjetnika (osnovani 1868.). Prostor oko zgrade je 2017. uređen i nakon što su porušene pseće pišaonice i narkomansko-klošarski vrtovi te posađena trava zgrada je došla do punog izražaja te plijeni poglede svojim jednostavnim a opet veličanstvenim izgledom. Njezinu ljepotu upotpunjuje obnovljen vodoskok. 👍 Preporuka za posjetu!

Founded in 1868, this is the oldest association of visual artists in Croatia. Its headquarters is located at Trg žrtava fašizma (Square of the Victims of Fascism) in a building known as the Dom hrvatskih likovnih umjetnika (Home of Croatian Visual Artists). The building was designed by Ivan Meštrović and completed in 1938. It is known for its circular layout and domed roof. Over the years, the building has served various functions, including as a mosque and a museum, and today it operates as a vibrant venue for art exhibitions and cultural events. In addition to Zagreb, the association has branches across Croatia, including in Rijeka, Dubrovnik, and Varaždin, working actively with local artists to promote a wide range of artistic activities.

Von außen sehr auffällig und interessant. Ich bin absolut kein Kunstfan, bin aber trotzdem rein. Kann man machen, sehenswert. Da Wechselausstellungen, kann es den persönlichen Geschmack treffen, oder auxh nicht.
