Beautiful spring with clear, powerful water feeding one of Europe’s shortest rivers. Surrounded by green hills, the view is lovely—and you can also see the old hydroelectric power plant nearby, which still supplies water and electricity to Dubrovnik. Great spot for nature and history lovers.

Small river that has provided Dubrovnik with drinking water since the 14/15th century... Place has seen better days. The 15th century buildings are devastated. Only the front walls are standing. I don't understand why the government doesn't buy and fix the place up... it would be marvellous to see the buildings get renovated. Seen some locals take a swim there (although the water is around 7°C)... not a place necessary to visit, when coming to Dubrovnik...

Sehr sehenswert, kühl und schattig. Kleines Bistro mit Aussichtsplattform. Außer den Kaltgetränken vor Ort muss alles vom Haupthaus rangeschleppt werden, dauert daher etwas.

Die Quelle ist beeindruckend, das drumherum ist ein "lost place". Man muß durch ein Verfallenes E - Werk gehen. Zutritt kostenlos, Parkplätze gibst so gut wie keine. Zufahrt über eine schmale Gasse direkt neben der Brücke.
