This is a place to be in Ljubljana. It might be one of my favourite places to eat the world- not only the food but the chef and staff are extraordinary kind people. Food is just food. You can get extraordinary food around the world but I chose to come back to TaBar over and over again because food has soul and story that are worth sharing to the world. I am very impressed with Culinary talents that the chef trying hard to fuse cultures- particularly Asian and classic French/Slovenian techniques.

We arrived at the restaurant on-time for our dinner reservation. We tried to put in our order but were told we'd have to do the pre fixe, which we didn't want, because a large party had arrived at the same time. After a convo with the server, we mutually agreed to skip our meal and he seemed very relieved and told us "thank you" because the kitchen was about to be so backed up with the tour group. After we left, we were hit with a 675 EUR no show fee.

Exzellentes 2-Hauben Lokal in Laibach! Das 6-Gänge-Menü war herausragend. Der junge Kellner war äußerst motiviert, und das gesamte Team beherrschte perfekt Englisch, um alle Fragen zum Essen und Trinken zu beantworten. Einziges Manko: Das Interior hat noch Verbesserungspotenzial. Ohne Tischtücher und Stoffservietten wirkt die Einrichtung zu simpel im Vergleich zur sonst positiven Erfahrung.

Hrana je bila zaista ukusna,ali precijenjena! Cudan mi je koncept tapas bara,gdje se u meniju nudi kruh i maslac? Ogromna karta vina,ali puno toga nemaju,a izbor jela relativno malen .Mozda je bila greska konobara sto nam nije sugerirao slijed,vec da zasebno biramo jela!Salama je bila fina,ali se kruh uz nju extra naplacuje( 17 +4 eur)?Ambijent mi se nije svidio,sam ulaz u bar izgleda zapusteno,nedostaje muzika, staklena vetrina umjesto finih zalogajcica sluzi kao odlagiste tegli? Nigdje vizualnog dojma da ste u tapas baru...Osoblje je preopusteno i glasno...nedostaju im finese! Steta da tako finu hranu ne prezentira netko tko bi si dao vise truda,ocekivala sam puno vise!

Sicher die schrägste Naturweinbar von Laibach, genau so wie sein Besitzer. Er bringt mit seinem Temperament Schwung in die Bude und ist mit viel Herz bei der Präsentation seiner Weine.

Food was ok but insanely overpriced (€170 for 2). We asked for one menu to be safe for pregnancy which is it wasn’t (although that could be due to differences in guidance jn UK vs Slovenia). Service was friendly but the meal took 2.5 hrs, so was very slow. Wine selection was good. Desert spoons were the longest I’ve ever seen.

We had an incredible meal here earlier this year, TaBar champions local Slovenian produce and you can see why - everything we tried was absolutely delicous from the bread to the wine and everything in between. Our waiter was a star and gave us some amazing recommendations, none of which we regretted. Will hopefully be back soon!

Nous avons passé une soirée mémorable au TaBar. Le menu 9 services est à recommander pour un beau voyage ancré dans le terroir slovène. Les produits sont particulièrement bien travaillés avec des saveurs marquées. La carte des vins est très complète, avec de bonnes bouteilles de Slovénie et le conseil est juste. Parlons d’ailleurs du service qui est parfait : présent, sympathique et attentif tout en étant discret. Le service (assiettes, bols,…) sont de belle facture et plaira à ceux qui y sont sensibles. Le cadre gagnerait vraiment à être revu pour être à la hauteur du reste. Une adresse à recommander!

Had the 9 course tasting menu. Service was a little slow to start with but got better through the evening, still took 3 hours to get through it. Food was amazing! Some strange, some tastier than others but all good and would definitely recommend the experience!

Izjemna restavracija v samem središču Ljubljane, kjer nas je osebje toplo sprejelo. Obiskali smo jih med tednom restavracij. Natakar je bil izjemno prijazen, zabaven in pozoren. Hrana je bila okusna, prefinjena in predstavljena na izviren način. Kljub nekoliko višjim cenam je obisk zagotovo vreden, saj ponuja nepozabno kulinarično doživetje.

Odlična izkušnja, ki je presegla pričakovanja. Hipster, pa ne preveč, casual, ampak še vedno uglajeno in popolna atmosfera za res gurmanski užitek. Лучший винный бар Любляны. В меню примерно 180 этикеток, из которых большая часть - оранжевые. В меню очень гастрономичные тапасы. Все очень вкусно. Обслуживание в лучшую сторону отличается от других мест Любляны - очень душевно. Любимое место, готов возвращаться Стол лучше бронировать
