One of the best dining places in Ljubljana with emphasis on seasonal food. Compa means potatoes in slovenian dialect although meet is specially if this restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic service. The food is great as well. Definitely try the colt steak!!! The little bit of salt and chilli to the steak adds so much to the flavour! The ambience is nice, and as I said, the staff really take care of you and ensure that you enjoy the meal and experience.

Honest, unpretentious food served in a manner that lets the ingredients speak for themselves. Small menu (always a good sign) focused on meat with seasonal specials. The charcoal grill really shines through in the smokey goodness of the meat. For those unfamiliar with the local tradition of eating horse, don't be afraid & try the colt - it is the tastiest of all the meats we had. Warm, friendly, attentive service & good local wine selection in a charming cellar-style restaurant. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because I have to reserve such praise for Michelin starred places that live up to the reputation. But eat here & you won't be disappointed :)
