Très déçu par notre expérience chez Navigare yachting . Le Skipper était en dessous de tout. L’agence a beau dire que c’est pas eux qui choisissent les Skipper… Qui est ce alors ? Il y a bien un responsable. Après deux jours de navigation, les cuves des toilettes étaient pleines, parce qu’il avait oublié de les vider en pleine mer. Ça remontait par les cabines avant. Il a fait un semblant de nettoyage en arrachant un rideau pour éponger. Pendant cinq jours nous n’avons pas eu d’électricité sur le côté droit du bateau. Je précise que nous avions choisi un bateau 2024 et que notre croisière a eu lieu en juillet 2025. Il s’agissait donc d’un bateau censé être récent. Skipper assez désagréable. Il fumait. Laissait ses cendres sur le pont du bateau . Il laissait ses canettes de bière vides traîner partout comme s’il nous prenait pour ses femmes de ménage . Il est reparti le vendredi soir des l’arrivée au port sans laisser aucune instruction. Il s’appelle Marko.

We rented a boat with navigare yachting in Dubrovnik and sailed towards Montenegro. De staff was very kind and the check in went smoothly. We had a personal contact person for questions who answered super quick. The boat was perfect, good state and very spacious. At the end of the holiday we had some problems with customs because we came from Montenegro and they helped us sort it out, even tough it was late at night. Overall, Im very happy with our renting experience and I would definitely rent with them again.

Beschwerde über unprofessionelles Verhalten des Base Managers in Dubrovnik und mangelhafte Bootsübergabe Sehr geehrtes Navigare Yachting Team, unsere Reise startete ab Dubrovnik mit dem Katamaran Bali Catspace "Famili 257", gebucht über Boataround. Das Layout des Bootes hat uns sehr gefallen – großzügiger Platz, gut durchdachte Aufteilung. Wir reisen seit Jahren mit erfahrenem Skipper, der auch in der Winterzeit Boote wartet, und legen in unserem Urlaub großen Wert auf Ruhe, Unabhängigkeit und Naturerlebnis. Wir versorgen uns entsprechend gut und meiden Häfen, sofern nicht notwendig. Leider mussten wir auf dieser Reise mehrere Mängel feststellen, die bereits vor dem Ablegen bestanden – und die nicht wie erwartet behandelt wurden. Die Mängel im Überblick: * Verstopfter Waschbeckenabfluss (vom Skipper selbst repariert) * Toiletten in zwei Kabinen ließen sich nicht vollständig schließen – was zu unangenehmer Geruchsbildung führte * Der Teleskop-Haken für die Boje war defekt, fiel beim ersten Einsatz auseinander – eine Person musste unter Gefahren ins Wasser springen * Das Beiboot verlor Luft und der Außenbordmotor funktionierte nicht, obwohl wir es dringend für Versorgungsausflüge benötigten * Weitere kleinere Defekte, die den Komfort beeinträchtigten, aber von uns toleriert wurden All diese Punkte deuten klar darauf hin, dass das Boot vor Übergabe nicht ausreichend geprüft wurde. Das hätte vermieden werden können und müssen. Unprofessionelles Verhalten des Base Managers in Dubrovnik (Herr A.D.): Auf der Kontaktliste war Herr A.D. als erste Ansprechperson bei Problemen angegeben. Ein Anrufversuch blieb unbeantwortet, daher wandte ich mich per E-Mail an ihn – ebenfalls ohne Reaktion für mehr als 24 Stunden. Erst nach Kontaktaufnahme mit Boataround, die sich vorbildlich und sofort um unser Anliegen kümmerten, meldete sich Herr A.D. schließlich. Sein Verhalten war enttäuschend und unangemessen: * Kein Interesse am geschilderten Anliegen * Keine Bereitschaft zuzuhören * Keine Entschuldigung, sondern der Vorwurf, wir hätten die Mängel selbst verursacht * Ein respektloser Kommentar, er wolle mit einem Mann sprechen – obwohl ich die Buchung vorgenommen hatte. Das empfand ich als beleidigend und diskriminierend. Fazit:
Die gebuchte Leistung wurde nicht vollständig erbracht. Statt sich der Sache professionell anzunehmen, wich Herr A.D. jeder Verantwortung aus. Bis zur Bootsübergabe am Samstag wurde kein einziger Mangel behoben für die nachfolgenden Mieter. Die Aussage auf Ihrer Website, dass Schäden mit dem Base Manager bei der Rückgabe besprochen werden, wurde ignoriert. Herr A.D. sagte zu, bei der Rückgabe anwesend zu sein – erschien aber nicht. Unser Wunsch an Sie:
Ein gut gewartetes Boot und ein kompetenter, lösungsorientierter Base Manager sind essenziell für einen gelungenen Segelurlaub. In unserem Fall war dies leider nicht gegeben. Wir hoffen sehr, dass Sie intern die nötigen Schritte einleiten, um zukünftigen Gästen eine bessere Erfahrung zu ermöglichen – und das professionelle Niveau Ihrer Flotte wiederherzustellen. We had a truly disturbing experience with Navigare Yachting during our recent charter from Dubrovnik in june. What started as a wonderful trip ended with a serious safety incident, poor technical support, and appalling treatment by management. On the last night aboard, before going to bed (around 10AM) our cabin was overwhelmed by a toxic chemical smell coming from the vent above the fridge. We tried everything to fix it, thinking it was spoiled food. (We also asked the staff of the Marina and they basically told us that as long as the ship is not burning or sinking it is not an emergency and therefore not their responsibility...). Completely left on our own, and since there was no emergency number available on the boat, we had to figure everything out by ourselves (They took the booklet with all the contacts after the checkout on friday). Even after eventually finding the contact numbers, no one could be reached. Navigare’s technical support was completely unreachable no call back, no emergency help. We tried to manage it by opening all the windows and went to sleep. However at around 2 AM the smell got even worse and utterly unbearable, so we tried again to contact the technical support. At 3:00 AM the manager finally took up the phone but he immediately hung up as he heard we had an issue of our fridge and didn't let us elaborate on the situation. Some time later we finally managed to get a security guard and a skipper from another boat. They boarded the boat and ordered us to evacuate immediately, identifying the source as a burning battery ,which after some research afterwards seems to be a frequent issue with catamarans (we didn't know this and we are new to sailing, but as a charter they should know). This was an extremely dangerous situation we were breathing in toxic battery fumes, without knowing the risk, and Navigare had zero failsafe system, alarm and no competent technical support in place. When we called the manager again and our skipper (who left earlier), they told us to sleep in another empty boat in the Marina which was dirty and already used, so we decided to sleep outside on the net. When we reported the incident the next morning, the base manager was extremely defensive, dismissive, and tried to gaslight us, telling us we should be “grateful” it was solved “in under 24 hours.” He tried to blame the skipper for leaving on Friday as if that had anything to do with an overheating electrical system. Even worse: when I pointed out that Navigare has a responsibility to provide a failsafe system, he refused to speak with me, only addressing other members of the crew. I was the only Asian person on board. He dismissed me completely while engaging only with others. That is outright discriminatory. He also tried to tell us we were “safe” because there was a CO sensor onboard which is false and incompetent. CO sensors do not detect battery fumes, which can contain hydrofluoric acid and other toxic compounds. His understanding of boat safety was shockingly poor. They also offered us a 200€ refund, on the condition that we sign a release form stating the issue was resolved, and promising not to post public reviews. They also lied in writing, saying the issue was caused by the skipper leaving, nothing about the burning battery. We refused to sign. This was the worst treatment I’ve ever experienced from a charter company of any kind, and I strongly warn others to think twice before trusting Navigare Yachting Dubrovnik with your safety. The only reason it got even one star is that otherwise the week of sailing was fantastic with a fantastic crew and a very pleasant skipper.
