Amazing restaurant with top-quality, excellently prepared food! We had the octopus cooked under peka, and it was truly finger-licking good. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the view is stunning — while you eat, you're looking directly out to the sea. I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious cuisine in a beautiful setting!

Ein kulinarisches Highlight mitten im Naturparadies! Die Taverne Go-ro hat uns rundum begeistert. Schon beim Ankommen fiel das stimmungsvolle, liebevoll gestaltete Ambiente ins Auge – gemütlich, entspannt und mit einem Hauch mediterranem Charme, perfekt eingebettet in die wunderschöne Naturkulisse des Parks. Das Essen war schlichtweg hervorragend. Der gegrillte Oktopus war auf den Punkt gegart, zart und geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt. Das Rindergulasch – ein echter Wohlfühlklassiker – war intensiv im Aroma, saftig und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Ein besonderes Highlight war das Ribeye-Steak mit Wasabi-Kartoffelstampf: eine gelungene Kombination aus hochwertigem Fleischgenuss und überraschendem, aber harmonischem Begleiter. Als süßen Abschluss gab es eine köstliche Crème brûlée, perfekt karamellisiert und herrlich cremig. Jedes Gericht war nicht nur geschmacklich ein Genuss, sondern auch optisch ansprechend angerichtet – man merkt, dass hier mit Herz gekocht wird. Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich bemüht, unseren Besuch besonders zu machen. Preislich ist die Taverne mehr als fair – bei der gebotenen Qualität, dem Ambiente und dem Service ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut stimmig. Fazit: Ein echter Geheimtipp im Naturpark Telašćica! Wer gutes Essen in besonderer Umgebung schätzt, sollte sich einen Besuch in der Taverne Go-ro nicht entgehen lassen. Wir kommen garantiert wieder.

Essen sehr gut. Aber Bedienung unter sehr unhöflich. Zwei Klassen Gesellschaft. Nur weil man nicht mit einer 60 Fuss Yacht kommt, wird man hier behandelt wie der letzte Mensch. Auch wir haben unsere Rechnung bezahlt. Auch wenn wir nur eine 36er haben.

Very nice and friendly staff, I like the relaxed and honesty of them. The food was delicious, they have very tasteful dishes. All is prepared from fresh ingredients. Every euro is worth.

It had been eight years since our last amazing meal at Taverna Goro and we could not wait to return as we had been talking about the škrpina we had there for the years since. This time, we brought our kids and loved seeing this enchanting spot through their eyes. We called ahead for the Octopus Peka and at the first bite our eight year old exclaimed, “This is SO good!” We could not get enough of the grilled vegetables (especially the tomatoes and onions!), and our meat dish with handmade pasta was delicious. Loved our wine as well and our prosciutto and cheese appetizer was a hit with everyone. After our meal, we enjoyed relaxing out on the chairs right by the water while our kids dipped their toes in the water and played on by the shore. We’ll be talking about the octopus until our next visit to Taverna Goro!

Was soll ich sagen, ich liebe Oktopus und ich habe ihn in vielen Restaurants in verschiedenen Ländern gegessen, aber das war mit Abstand der BESTE !!! Zum Restaurant selber kann ich nur sagen, es war ein Traum, super nette Betreiber, herzliches Service, fantastisches Essen, wunderbares Ambiente. Wir kommen sicher wieder !!!

Echter Geheimtipp für Segelboote, aber auch über die Straße erreichbar. Sehr nette Gastgeber, tolles Ambiente tolle sehr köstliche Gerichte Fisch, Steak, Lamm..... 'Vino' 😄 Zum Schluss muss man sagen, das ich nach dem schönen Abend, ein sehr glücklicher Mensch war.
