Restavracija in kavarna Sedem je del Višje šole za gostinstvo in turizem, kjer se združuje mladostna kreativnost, izvrstna kulinarika in želja po strokovni rasti. Smo prva šolska restavracija v Sloveniji, ki deluje po inovativnem poslovnem modelu, kjer naši študenti pod mentorstvom samostojno izvajajo vse strokovne procese.

Smo ponosni prejemniki posebnega priznanja The Plate Michelin že četrto leto zapored in se uvrščamo med najboljše restavracije v Mariboru po vodniku Gault&Millau. Naš chef Sebastjan Plevčak je srce in duša naše restavracije, ki s profesionalnostjo in kreativnostjo ustvarja edinstvene jedi.

Really enjoyed our experience in this pleasant, ambient Maribor restaurant. Innovative dishes mixed with some Slovenian classics. We really enjoyed the marinated tomatoes and especially the hops desert and would highly recommend both.

Very very good and creative dishes created, cooked and served by students of the Slovenian culinary institute. We had the seven course menu with matching wines, a great journey through Slovenian ingredients and wine regions, with some unusual pairings (strawberry margherita with dessert). Higly recommended. Very friendly and attentive service.

Very calm ambient. Professional service from students studying/training in the service industry. Food is delicious, meals are very well combined, so get your tasting buds ready. I have been here twice so far and will visit them again. Very wide range of wines, to choose from. They offer mainly local food and supplies. One of few things not local are whiskey's😉

Just outside the door, a small sign informs you that the restaurant has been included in the Michelin Guide for 2022. But if you happen to miss this sign, as soon as you enter the restaurant you will see a large stand where you will be informed in a more comprehensive way. We only went for a cup of tea and a piece of cake, so I can't say much about the main course. Actually I can't say much about their cakes either, the cakes are just like cakes, nothing ordinary. The service is great though, especially the hourglass that comes with the tea (which measures how long it takes to brew the tea). The service is good, the waiters are all dressed in either suits or special uniforms. I wouldn't call this place cosy, it's more of a luxury style café, all very clean and posh.
