Ne znas sto je bolje, hrana, usluga ili lokacija. Ramstek i najbolja slatka blitva koju sam jeo dosad. Male tajne vrhunske kuharice. Posebne pohvale na uslugu , konobarica Dragana i njezinu preporuku za jelo. Cijene su vrlo korektne obzirom na lokaciju otočića.

Heavenly Food and Heartwarming Service – A Must-Visit Gem on Mljet! We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Restaurant Melita on the beautiful island of Melita (Mljet), and it was nothing short of a divine experience. The location is dreamy — right on the coast, breezy and shaded, with the gentle sound of waves adding a touch of magic to every bite. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was the incredible service. Dragana, our waitress, was exceptional — gracious, smiling, attentive, and simply radiating positivity. She took such thoughtful care of us, and her wine recommendations were spot on. We tried two whites: Pošip Čara and Mala Nevista — both paired beautifully with our dishes and elevated the whole experience. For lunch, we enjoyed grilled calamari with Swiss chard and a zucchini pasta that I can only describe as pure poetry. The pasta was creamy, the zucchini delightfully crisp, and each bite melted in our mouths like a gentle Mediterranean breeze. The calamari were perfectly grilled — tender, juicy, and not rubbery in the slightest. Absolute perfection! The whole team deserves a standing ovation, but special thanks go to Dragana for her warmth and impeccable service, and to the chef, whose skill and heart came through in every mouthwatering detail. If you’re anywhere near Mljet, make Melita your lunch or dinner destination. Your soul and tastebuds will thank you.

Šaramantni restoran koji se nalazi na otočiću Melita u srcu nacionalnog. Pogled je čaroban, ugodna glazba, ma pravi odmor za dušu. Djeca su guštala u pizzi punoj nadjeva. Osoblje je izuzetno ljubazno, pogotovo konobarica Dragana. Sve pohvale!

Veličanstven ugođaj, savršena lokacija ... sve upotpunjeno izvrsnim rižotom. Došli smo sa svojim idejama ali nas je izvrsna konobarica Dragana uvjerila da naručimo ono što nam je na kraju najviše odgovaralo i što nam je kratki boravak u NP Mljet učinilo nezaboravnim.

Vidjevsi ne bas sjajnu ocjenu, bila sam skepticna, medjutim kada sam procitala recenzije shvatila sam da iste nisu relevantne jer se vecinom lose ocjene odnose na visoke cijene, sto mi nije razumljivo. S obzirom na lokaciju, pogled i nedostatak drugih lokala, logicno da su i cijene vece nego sto je uobicajeno, ali po meni i opravdano. Docekao nas je i ugostio jako ljubazan domacin, kao i divna konobarica Dragana. Hrana, atmosfera i usluga-sve je bilo za cistu peticu. Od srca preporuka!

A nice, cosy restaurant situated on a small island next to the beautiful benedictan monastery. The electric boat carrying you to and off the island docks few meters away and leaves every half an hour so there is no fear of missing the boat. Food selection and food quality are quite good, portions are not too big but not to small either, the prices are a bit steep but having in mind it is a reataurant on a small island within a national park, let's call it fair. Staff are excellent, very friendly and the service is fast. Definitely would recommend :)

Voda 0.5l u plastičnoj boci 3.40e Kad čete shvatit da voda nebi trebala bit luksuz... Osim toga u Hrvatskom N.P. (zemlji sa stotinama izvora i desetke flaširanih voda) vi u ponudi imate Austrijsku vodu Romerqualle. Idiotizam na vrhuncu... EDIT: Poštovani, odgovor koji ste dali odaje svu suštinu Vaše neprofesionalnosti, te ako mislite da je dodavanje plastične boce vode iz hladnjaka meni u ruku "vrhunska razina ugostiteljstva", odmah zatvorite restoran i počnite se bavit nečim drugim. Takoder razmislite o prodaji i promociji Hrvatske vode jer prodaja Austrijske vode koju distribuira Američka firma u HRVATSKOM N.P. nikako nije za pohvalu ni Vama ni kompletnom Nacionalnom parku.

This is our third year returning to Restaurant Melita on the beautiful island of Mljet, and once again, it has been an absolutely lovely experience. The service is outstanding – truly some of the friendliest and most welcoming we’ve encountered anywhere. The atmosphere feels like coming home, and there’s a warmth and care that makes every visit special. We had the steak, and it was perfectly tender and delicious – full of flavor and cooked exactly right. Every meal we’ve had here has been memorable. A special mention must go to Dragana, who is an absolute star. She goes above and beyond every time, and her presence alone makes the experience so much richer. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel seen and cared for – a real treasure. If you’re on Mljet, don’t miss this place. This restaurant is the epitome of a tourist trap. The waitress recommended the black risotto, touting it as their best dish. 5 minutes later, Voila! Got their premade risotto, sadly served crunchy (and I don’t mean al dente), which is diabolical for the price point. Also, be careful of the boat schedule. I’ve noticed a pattern of the operators not following the schedule posted by the National Park, and just deciding to finish early. They left me at the furthest pier, giving me no choice but to walk the 3.5km back to Pomena.

Vse tu je vrhunsko. Od kvalitete hrane, postrežbe in ambienta. Natakarica Dragana izjemno prijazna, razložila je vse o otoku, vsak od nas je dobil krožnik za pizzo, ki smo si jo podelili. Dobili smo tudi dosti ledu, da smo si dodatno ohladili pijače, ... Skratka vse perfektno. 😃
