We ordered a grilled lobster that was taken directly from the sea. The lobster was perfectly cooked. The dish was completed with good rice. Also the “Dalmatian prsut” appetiser was of excellent taste. Good wines selection and service. Price in line of the quality of food.

We arrived to the Konoba Calypso at 7 pm there were many free parking spaces for boats left the staff helped us with the mooring in a friendly way. We wanted to stay for the night which wasn’t a problem. Water and electricity were for free. The restaurant is bright and charming. The waiter was very polite. We ordered grilled fish and a tuna steak which were ready in a couple of minutes. The food was fresh and delicious with current pricing of Croatia these days. On the next day in the morning we could leave our garbage, and got three kilograms of ice cubes for free. A perfect stay. C u next year

Nevjerojatno iskustvo u restoranu Kalypso! Posjetili smo restoran Kalypso na Mljetu i ostali oduševljeni svime — od usluge do okusa! Hrana je bila svježa, savršeno pripremljena i s puno lokalnog štiha. Posebno bih istaknula domaće vino i svježu ribu koja je bila vrhunska! Osoblje je ljubazno, uslužno i toplo. Lokacija restorana je prekrasna, vezani na mooring ispred restorana. Topla preporuka svima koji posjete Mljet. Kalypso je must-visit!

I highly recommend the grilled sea bass – perfectly cooked, flaky, and full of flavor. For meat lovers, the beef steak is a must-try – tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. It’s rare to find a place that does both seafood and steak this well! The wine list is impressive, with a wide selection of local and international labels. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect pairing for each course. Their recommendations truly elevated the whole experience. Service was outstanding – friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell they care about every guest having a memorable time. We started with the fish soup, which was rich, flavorful and full of real, fresh fish - not the usual watery stuff. After that, we shared some grilled fish and veggies, and just sat there soaking in the view. Super laid-back place with great food and lovely service. Exactly what you want on an island like Mljet.

Spent weekend on Mljet and visited Calypso for lunch while exploring national parl, such a good decision. The place is chill, seafront, with frendly stuff. We had fresh fish - grilled just right, some vegetables, really tasty. Prrfect spot to take a break, enjoy the sea view with local food. Coming back for sure!

Arrived here off a yacht, restaurant was pre-booked and not busy. Waiter took drinks order and delivered then took food order, we didn't see him again for an hour & 1/4 no communication, no how are you doing? When we caught his attention and asked how long the food would be were told 5 minutes another 1/2 hour later with still no communication we decided to leave and go elsewhere. Do not book this restaurant the service is non existant and we never saw any food in the two hours we were there. Prices are steep for the area but the service did not reflect this at all. Also very limited vegetarian options.

4 Personen mussten für Dinner fast 2 Stunden auf das Essen warten. Nach 1,5h brachte man uns dann erstmals Brot. Keine Information, keine Entschuldigung. Nachbartisch verließ Lokal OHNE Abendessen. Preise viel zu teuer für Weine und Essen. Ambiente sehr bescheiden. Keine Empfehlung!

Schon beim Schiffanbinden wurde uns geholfen. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend, sehr guter Fisch gegessen uns sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.
