Lovely restaurant in the centre of Ljubljana. The food was incredible, the wine was brilliant and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Oberes Drittel Gastronomie mit mittlerer Preislage. Aufgeräumte Karte, gute Zubereitung (Fleisch auf den Punkt, Pasta al dente). Slowenische Küche mit europäischem Einfluss. Schmeckt!

Reading all the reviews I expected something great but all I can say after visit - it’s average. Rumpsteak was a bit hard and lacked any seasoning (a touch of s&p would’ve made it much better). Beef goulash was too acidic and also was lacking herbs or additional flavors. Dumplings were a surprise. Service was not the best. We didn’t feel waiter’s attention. Also they brought fancy water instead of free tap water like any other place.

The food was amazing and the service pretty good but before we left we asked to pack the pasta our son barely touched. The waiter said he'll check and ignored our request. When we asked again he said he'll check again and added "I have a lot of work". Finally he said they don't have a box to pack. Although I think its a total waste i get that maybe its not customary to pack unfinished food as it is where we come from but I left with an unpleasant feeling because of the treatment. We were not high maintenance customers...
