Terrible experience. I'm Slovenian and I was really disappointed of the food here. But more so about the whole experience. I took my parents in law from Germany here and we were all thinking was what a disgrace of Slovenian cuisine this place was. The food looked good, but the mushroom soup was really watery, pears on the salad were not fresh (from a bloody jar), BBQ ribs were served cold, and everything was far overpriced. If I touch the experience ... They didn't offer regular water from pipe, which is a standard thing in Slovenia. It always was. If I were there alone, I would leave just because of that. They also took my girlfriend's plate while she was still eating, without asking anything. They forgot what my mother in law has ordered and even when she explained them again, they brought her the wrong dish. Their kitchen is a mess ... The waiter slipped and fell on the floor while we were waiting for food to arrive, and another one crashed a plate in the meanwhile. Also, the toilets were dirty. Loparnica dish, however, tasted great, and homemade beer was very good. But in the end they charged two glasses of wine instead of one. Not sure if this was a scamming attempt or not, but it surely wasn't a nice finish of the evening. I would recommend not to eat traditional dishes in Ljubljana, as there are so many cheaper and much better restaurants on the country side, and many of them offer superb quality.

Ein Slowenischer Bekannter hatte uns das Lokal empfohlen (muss wohl vor Corona gewesen sein und Eigentümer oder Belegschaft gewechselt haben). Bereits beim Warten auf einen Tisch wurde man quasi komplett ignoriert, das Personal war komplett überfordert und unglaublich unfreundlich, vom ersten Moment an hat man das Gefühl nicht willkommen zu sein. Das Gulasch im Brot ist akzeptabel aber für den Preis von 16.50€ eine absolute Frechheit. Der Weißwein für 4€ war ganz gut. Ich wünschte ich hätte mir vorab die anderen Kommentare hier durchgelesen und mir dieses erniedrigende Erlebnis ersparen können. Hier ist der Kunde nicht König sondern Gefängnisinsasse.

pyszne jedzenie, smaczne piwko, dobra obsługa i długie kolejki , co na pewno dobrze świadczy - ludzie tam chętnie wracają. I my wrócimy jeśli będzie kolejna okazja, polecam :)

Place looks good from the outside and people are waiting in line to have a table so you tell yourself "it has to be a nice restaurant". No, this place is just a tourist trap where only your money matters. You can't have a drink and wait to order your food otherwise the waiter will look upset and in a hurry to take your order. Food is basic, not the best you will have in Slovenia. Not a thank you or goodbye after paying the bill. Also tap water doesn't exist in this restaurant, they will charge you a plastic bottle like a good tourist trap they are, funny because every restaurant in Slovenia have tap water.. Avoid this place, you will waste your money.

De loin ma meilleure expérience culinaire à Ljubljana, les serveurs, même en plein rush, restent adorables et très à l'écoute. Service rapide en heure de pointe, et quel festin! Nous avons pu goûter à la cuisine traditionnelle locale, pour un prix certes un peu élevé pour le standard de la capitale, mais clairement justifié par la qualité de la nourriture. Nous avons pris le goulash servi dans un bol de pain et une assiette de porc et veau, tout nous a conquis et rassasié ! Je vous recommande de manger à l'intérieur pour profiter de l'ambiance type "taverne"/"auberge" de montagne !
