Gutes Restaurant in guter Lage. Gute Auswahl an slowenischen Speisen, Speisen sehr schmackhaft und reichlich. Service gut, sollte das Lokal gut besucht sein, kann es zu etwas längere Wartezeiten kommen. Man kann drinnen oder draußen sitzen.

9 of us had our dinner at Sokol and we had mixed feelings. Some of the food were amazing, I would recommend the goulash, the mushroom soup and the sausage. They were really good, however the veal stew wasn't that good. The atmosphere is really cool, but the service was bad. Maybe our waiter had a bad day, but he seemed very bored and had the "I hate beeing here vibes" that made us uncomfortable.

The worst service in Ljubljana. The food was average, but ok for such a touristic place. The service was terrible. I got my starter and then had to wait 40’ for the main. I asked 2-3 times about it, and they keep saying it is coming. When I said to bring the bill, I did not want it, they served me in 2’. The only excuse they used was a big group they had at the same time. BTW the group arrived after I gave my order.

Kevés a pincérük a hely kapacitásaihoz képest és ez rámegy a kiszolgálás minőségére, rettenetes rohanás és kapkodás volt a végén pedig szinte keresgelnem kellett az embert akinek végre fizethetek. Az ajtónálló férfi láthatóan arra várt, hogy végre fejezzük már be és tudjon újabb 8 turistát leültetni a kinti hatalmas sorból. Az étel egyébként jó volt.

Nel centro storico di Lubjana, tavoli esterni, servizio veloce cucina tradizionale slovena. Ottime le zuppe e secondi salsicce con crauti e manzo con pure di patate . Non ci sono cevabcici. Birra a volontà.

Underwhelming. This restaurant was recommended as a go-to restaurant if it is your first time in Ljubljana. Unfortunately, I don‘t agree. Service felt rushed and not at all personal. I could have lived with that, had the food been good. I ordered the goulash in a bread because I saw other people have it and it was super tasteless. Very disappointing because I love the dish and had it many times throughout the former Austria-Hungarian countries. In this case it reminded me somehow of lunch canteen food, bland. It tasted as if it was optimized for low cost, the bread (pure white bread) was of low quality and equally tasteless. The “homemade beer“ was disappointing as well. Getting the bill took a while because the waiter was not in sight for a bit. The waiter mumbled something about “service is extra”. I did not understand whether that was begging for tips or something else. This was probably the first time in years that I left a beer mug half full. Also, I was still hungry when leaving. Finally, if you are a vegetarian or vegan, don’t even consider coming here.

Als Tourist*innen fanden wir das Essen sehr gut, um mal lokale Gerichte zu probieren. Wir fanden das Essen sehr gut und uns hat vor allem der Strukli mit Pilzsoße sehr gut geschmeckt. Teils sind die Gerichte angemessen vom Preis, teilweise aber auch etwas teuer. Wir können den Besuch empfehlen.

Caratteristico ristorante di Lubiana, molto turistico ma uno dei pochi che abbiamo trovato che facesse cucina slovena. Il cibo è okay, durante il nostro viaggio abbiamo mangiato gli stessi piatti, ma decisamente più buoni. Lo consiglierei più che altro per l’atmosfera (il locale all’interno è molto bello e caratteristico) e per il servizio velocissimo e cordiale.
