The pizza ordered came with a long black hair as a topping mixed in with the cheese. Brought back the same pizza within 5 minutes saying it was another one. Charged full prize.

Jedzenie ok, ceny nieco wyższe niż w centrum. Filety z kurczaka w sosie serowym z ryżem były super niestety porcja jak dla 5 latka. Na plus lody za 2,5€ naprawdę gałki porządne.

Visited 14.07. No waiting, staf was friendly and kind. Food was amazing (Grilled chicken with pommes and Season salad). It is worth a visit.

This is the ONLY restaurant on the strip, not much choice if you're looking for something quick and hot to eat, as all the bars just serve sandwiches (they are all missing a trick - come on guys put on a few chips and pizzas). Anyway, the food is hit and miss. Pizzas are fab, really nice. I got the meat and cheese platter one day as I didn't feel like a proper meal. There was a lovely selection of cheeses, bread with it, but nothing wet at all, no dip or sauce or chutney. When I ran out of tomatoes it became difficult to chew and swallow such dry food. No butter came with the bread or anything. I found that really weird. The "gourmet steak" is this weird, disgusting burger thing with loads of other stuff mixed in and loads of salt. It's like they took all the leftover meats from the previous day and mixed them all up in to a burger/patty type thing. The mixed grill was nice. The view was magnificent. The service started off good (we were in Cavtat for 10 days, 7 of us). One day my son dropped the little glass ice bucket thing, and we were charged €10 for it. I thought this was bad form, but left it off, cultural differences or whatever. Wouldn't happen at home. Went back again and suddenly they started saying "service charge isn't included on the bill" to everyone. In other words, give me a tip. When I went to pay, he said "are you not giving any tip?" Well that's a great way to NOT get a tip. When my husband and nephew went on their own, they got shocking service and were left sitting for a half hour without even a sip of water, and they were not busy. From reading other reviews, is it just white women who get good(ish) service here? Really annoying, such a lovely spot. No need. Give good service and you get tips. Reminder to restaurant - your tourists come from countries where tips are not necessary, totally optional. When I questioned the waiter after our final encounter, he said they had been thinking of adding a service charge for certain tables, but they didn't, so that's why they're pushing for tips. Left a bad taste in our mouths anyway. UPDATE: One of the waiters personally sought me out on Instagram to send me a personal message calling me out for this review - highly inappropriate. I would like to address what he said. Firstly you said that we went there several times (which must mean that my review was a lie - right?). We did go there several times, there were no other hot food options on the strip and the view is the best there also (***** for the view). Our attendance to the restaurant slowed and then stopped, which I feel is pretty clear my my review? You called me a horrible and nasty person; I wrote this review honestly and didn't launch a personal attack on anyone, I still won't. I feel sorry that you are taking it personally. Maybe you should work on issues that are brought up in the MANY negative reviews on here instead of personally attacking the people that wrote them. I've been reading Trip Advisor reviews this morning. Questionable.

Extremely rude staff not interested in serving. The whole staff stood inside and would not take our orders. Had to go inside to the kitchen bar to order, though they sat and watched us sit and wait for them. Food is okey, but the service is absolutely terrible…

Kazu ako popijes vodu sa Begove đamije da se sigurno vracas u Sarajevo. To ne znam ali sigurno znam da cu se vratiti u bistro Žal na klopu jer je fenomenalna. Pristupacne cijene, teresa tik uz more u hladu, osoblje profesionalno, nasmjeseno i ljubazno. Hrana dode relativno brzo bez obzira na guzvu, a hrana ukusna bez zamjerke. Svakako preporuka svima!!
