This has been such a shame as it was our last dinner in Croatia after 2 amazing weeks with expectations. When we got there the staff looked like they had a big birthday party and were very uninterested with anyone. The hype on the reviews and the rating fooled me. I wish i read what people said as shame i expected a good dinner, we had some amazing meals in Croatia. THIS WAS NOT ONE! The waiter was trying to be friendly but really he didn’t care. I ordered the tagliatelle that seemed although i asked him if the shrimp were fresh nothing than like a ready meal overcooked lidl meal. The shrimp did not taste anything. My partner had a steak beef which had no sauce as they didn’t have any, it was alright but they did not even ask how to cook it i had to tell him after. Such a disappointing evening. Ridiculous bad food and service that seems to have taken for granted tourists. If you are looking for good food go elsewhere. Hopefully i am not getting sick from these disgusting shrimps. Tagliatelle that Lidl would have done better… so sad as our last night in Croatia and it’s been food heaven!

Prepare for a big nap after eating here, they are not joking around. Big portions and fair prices. For cloudy beer enjoyers, Grif might just scratch that itch. Good place, well worth the visit.

Uz možda još jedan restoran, jedina prava konstanta u Splitu! Radi čitavu godinu, a ne samo radi turista. Hrana uvijek odlična! Neke stvari samo ovdje možeš pojesti. Ponuda sezonska i dnevna, ovisno o tome šta se ulovilo ili čega je bilo dobroga na peškariji. Atmosfera domaća, kao i ekipa koja tu dolazi. Šteta što furešti smetaju, ali liti se ionako valja maknut iz grada dok je pod opsadom ;)

We ordered the BBQ platter for two, which looked appealing but fell short in taste and quality. Some of the meat was tasty, but most of it was too fatty and full of bones, making it more of a struggle to eat than an enjoyable experience. Instead of savoring the food, we spent most of the time picking through it. The portion size was also disappointing – it wasn’t really enough for two people to feel satisfied. The only real highlight was the fries, which were surprisingly good. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a solid BBQ experience, you might want to try a different place. While the service and ambiance were on point, the food unfortunately was not.

Unfortunately, our experience at this café was disappointing. The food was below expectations. I especially do not recommend the shrimp risotto or the seasonal salad. The place didn’t feel very clean, and the service was inattentive. It seemed like the staff weren’t particularly interested in the guests experience

Apparently this is one of the best restaurants in Spllt ( according to the staff!) The food was pretty good "I'll give them that", but i got the impression they were doing me a favour to let me eat there, psrticularly when the restaurant was empty. Maybe they'd had a busy day. It did appear busy at lunchtimes.
