This little local pirate bar and breakfast tavern is the best thing to eat so whole local grandma (52 years old) made food, family spot - rare for these times of gentrification! And they have huge portions with reasonable prices.

We stopped in here for breakfast before catching the airport shuttle. The existing reviews made the decision for us, and the place is quirky with enthusiastic service and a welcome smile. The food was delicious .. a generous 3 eggs for the eggs options! I tried to customise my order, but this did not work even though I had a nodding head. Anyway, it was still tasty! I shared pictures of the coffee because, honestly, they do it well, and my adult kids thought the hot chocolate was epic!

We came here for lunch and were delighted by the lunch menu on offer — you can really taste that the food is homemade and prepared with love. We had our two toddlers with us, and the owners and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even surprised the kids with some chocolate at the end, which wasn’t part of the menu. Highly recommended!

I came here looking for a good brunch and what i found far exceeded my expectations! As u can see from the pic below, this redefines for me what an English breakfast should look like. Fortunately I had a good appetite and was able to do it justice, almost. The quality of the bacon was top notch n that carried through to everything else. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Great breakfast- orange juice.hot coffee, perfect poached eggs (3 eggs) and gluten free toast- very happy coeliac diner. My husband had the same on normal toast and equally happy. Our friends had the juice, hot coffee, toast ( 3slices) butter and preserves and were also very happy. Service terrific- definitely recommend!

I genuinely cannot fault this place! Service was fantastic and the food was unbelievably comforting and delicious. Shoutout to grandma in the kitchen, she is a legend behind that stove! My boyfriend has a cold and absolutely loved the beef soup, it has probably cured his man flu.
