Uiteraard een strand met stenen, dus waterschoenen zijn aan te raden. Geen schaduw. Een eigen parasol meenemen is verstandig. Het water is mooi helder en heeft een prettige temperatuur. Er is een supermarkt om de hoek en op 50 meter afstand is een straat met allerlei bars, restaurants en winkeltjes. 's Avonds is er live muziek in meerdere van die tentjes. Openbaar vervoer (bus 6) stopt er in de buurt. Als je een appartement daar on de buurt huurt, hou rekening met veel steilentrappen lopen, zoals eigenlijk overal in Dubrovnik. De restaurants in de buurt van Sunset Beach zijn goedkoper dan die in de "Old Town".

Clear water, safe swimming - it's lovely. There is the occasional sea urchin but it's not as bad as it sounds. Pebble beach means water shoes are a must. There are plenty of bars/shops/restaurants around all contending to take as much money from you as possible, which accounts for only 4 stars. Do stay, or go back at sunset and the hour afterwards, it is stunning. Put your phone on 'night mode' for the best pictures
