We had a fantastic holiday at a great location. We were very pleased with the staff and the service. The sea was crystal clear, and the shade of the large pine trees made it even more perfect.

Not worth it - that’s my one liner for this hotel.
We have stayed in all Bluesun hotels on the Makraska riviera. Berulia is still our favorite followed closely by Maestral, which has an amazing architecture and interior.
Soline is a “masses” hotel where the reception staff is not even trying to make it pleasant for you (with some exceptions). They just don’t care.
This week we had 9 rooms in the hotel, from the simpel ones to the luxurious duplex ones. The more “luxurious” the rooms were the more lived out there were - and no one made any effort to improve it. We arrived on Friday and the curtain was ripped half way, so there was no way to darken the room fully. As I’m writing this (Thursday 6 days later) - no one made any effort effort to correct this even after mentioning this a few times. The room is dirty, stained and you get a feeling you came into someone else’s mess (see fotos). Not once did someone come to apologize or say something about it. It’s the beginning of busy season and the room looks like end of season.
It’s a lot of these small things that are just not on par - this hotel misses love and attention to detail from management. Because the staff sure will not think of doing something about it without getting a directive. You see it in simpel things: like aqua gym - where most excersises are above water and not adapted to a pool setting; maybe a stupid example, but it’s a lot of these things. The cleaning carts are left in the hallway each day; we have 9 rooms, some of us got a welcome drink while others didn’t. This had to do with some having loyalty membership but the ones that didn’t weren’t even offered the option. I booked an extra room for my parents through the reception and they “couldn’t give them welcome drinks because we booked through reception”. Are you kidding? We have 9 rooms this week, if you are service focused you welcome loyalty and write out what ever.
Again just not worth it - if you can, skip this hotel and go to one of the other ones. Marina has renovated rooms and is also in the same if not slightly cheaper price class. But still Berulia or Maestral - remain favorite, while the location is similar.
To finish with something positive: the restaurant staff was excellent. They accomodated our group of 9 rooms / 22 people and were super friendly and made us feel at home: Ivan, Anita and Martina from Argentina 🤗 were amazing 👌🏽as was the bar staff that made great cocktails 🍸

Scenic location right on the sea front, we had a transfer to the hotel and it's very tight and cramped for parking at the entrance, so we were dropped off at the top of the road and there's the option of a steep hill to drag your suitcase or steps to carry it!
Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and polite all the time, food okay but sometimes cold, rooms not massive but we don't spend all day in them. Only critisims I have is our beds were never made up as most hotels do and dirty cups/glasses weren't replaced.
There's an area in reception to book excursions and there seemed plenty to do and also a desk for car hire. We ended up hiring a car ourselves through the website advertised, as there was never anyone present each time we looked at the times stated someone would be there. There's a valet parking service due to the shortage of space and you let reception know what time you'd like your car, this was very well organised.
Pool/sunbed area looked nice but small. We're not poolside worshippers, so didn't use. Usual early morning sunbed saving culprits though!!
We only spent one lunch time and one full evening in the hotel. As it only offers B&B or Half Board, lunch was lovely but very expensive and drinks on a par with local caffe bars around.

Great hotel, especially if you choose sea view rooms. The location is a big pro of this hotel.
Good place to stay with kids in Brela.
I also enjoyed the omelets Sultana makes every morning in front of you. She is great!

Bra hotell, men en massa trappor. Utanför hotellet super fina stränder med små, vita kullersten. Rent och välordnat. Superfint för bad och simning.

Omelette’s by Chef Sultana are the best each morning. Such a lovely smiley and friendly person - a clear passion for serving the many guests each day (thank you!)
We will do a full review of the hotel later - for now we wanted to do a special shout out for Chef Sultana!

Our holiday experience was spoilt by the issue of insufficient sun beds. Hotel guests were getting up at the crack of dawn to reserve them with towels. Some were reserved and then left unused. There are notes on the parasols asking people not to do this but as there aren’t enough sun-beds for everyone it is a vicious circle! |The other thing I would add is the layout of the building is very confused. It’s not ideal having to walk through the dinner service to go out in the evening, but it is the quickest route. ||Apart from that our room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The local restaurants are good but the menus are all a bit similar.

A lovely clean well decorated hotel right on the coast for easy access to the many beaches, the closest are busy with family’s but we managed to find a couple of quieter ones if you walk a little. The hotel itself had a few tired areas including the pool areas and spa but nothing that affected us enough to dislike, the food was above average with plenty of options daily. A drink option at dinner even if it was just water would have been great as their only option was table service to buy drinks. We would have really appreciated an adults only area to sit in to eat without the little wildling children running about but admittedly it wasn’t too bad because our faces were often too busy being filled with pasta and fish. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Reception, bar to the cleaners too! I had two treatments at the spa, a foot reflexology that wasn’t worth its money, very short and a bit rubbish but I did have a Ayurveda harmony which was a bloody delight, I just wanted to be carried back to my room for a fat nap after. The hotel kindly booked the restaurant Konoba katara for one night which is on the mountainside overlooking the coast, they have a free shuttle from the town or hotel. The food is DEVINE, staff really lovely and the views were gorgeous at sunset. Highly recommend!! All in all we had a lovely time in Brela and will very much miss the crystal clear waters and bright blue skies! ☀️🇭🇷

Very nice hotel in a good location for the small resort of Brela. The pool area is nice enough but a lot of early morning sun bed grabbing does go on and sadly the hotel don't do very much about this. The pool doesn't get very warm either because its gets lots of shade on/off throughout the day. Room was a decent enough size with adequate storage space for a week and a free safe and a small fridge. Bathroom was a decent size with an easy walk-in shower. Decor throughout the whole room was light and modern. We were lucky enough to have a very private balcony with lots of sunshine. Cleaning of the room was a bit hit and miss; some days it was done really well (and early !) and other days not very well. I think it depended who was on duty. Check it was fine and we go into or room before the official check-in time of 3pm. Didn't need Reception thereafter so cannot comment any further on them.||We only stayed on a B&B basis and whilst breakfast was totally fine with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals and cold cuts I have to agree with other reviewers that all the "hot" breakfast items were cold. You could get freshly prepared omelettes but that was all from the cooking station.||The resort itself is very small with a shingle beach and it gets busy, but you could buy a sun lounger for the day. Buy yourself a pair of rubber socks too for the beach !. There are only seven restaurants in the whole of the resort which are all fairly good but only one takes credit card (Nautica) which was unfortunate. Most of the small cafe bars are cash only as well. The couple of mini marts take credit cards. Lots of ATMs dotted around the resort but they are a rip-off so take cash with you.||You can walk to next resort along (Baska Voda) which takes about 25-30 mins and it straight along the front which has a bigger selection of eateries and shops but to be honest it is a decent walk in the heat so we only did it by day.||A few boats trips available from the resort most of which are full days. Again cash only. I believe you can get a local bus into Split but it does mean a steep climb up to the main road which is not easy in the heat. You can organise a trip through the hotel on Monday and Wednesday for 33 euros each but I don't know much more than that.||All-in-all a very plesant stay but 1 week was enough in this small but pretty resort.
