Our Journey

Our story began over three decades ago, when Luka was born into a musical family in Slovenia. It wasn’t long before he developed his own unique style of instrument making, starting with his first guitar at just six years old. By 15, he had crafted his first jazz guitar, setting the stage for a career that would revolutionize the world of boutique guitars.

In 2007, Luka established Zaletelj Guitars, which quickly gained recognition in various countries. By 2014, his innovative designs earned him the title of "Artist-Designer of Musical Instruments" from the Ministry of Culture for the Republic of Slovenia. Today, his wife Maja manages the brand's marketing and logistics, allowing Luka to dedicate his time to what he loves most: building exceptional guitars.
