I was a big fan of Hofer in the past, but then I switched to Lidl, which in my opinion has better weekly items and sales. But as far as grocery stores go it's ok. The people working there are also nice and helpful. What I do have to say is that they have a great bread selection, maybe even beter than Lidl's.

Jedes Mal, wenn ich auf der Rückreise bin und durch Maribor fahre, kaufe ich hier einige Sachen. Es ist teilweise wie bei uns im Aldi, teilweise hier teurer (aber billiger als in Österreich), aber hier gibt es eben auch Produkte, die es in Deutschland nicht gibt. Das Personal habe ich immer als freundlich und hilfsbereit empfunden. Mein Slowenisch ist nicht so ganz toll, aber mit Englisch oder Deutsch (je nach Personal) klappt es.
