An unforgettable experience on the water. The private oyster picnic in Ston is a must-do if you’re visiting the Pelješac Peninsula. The boat ride through Mali Ston Bay is peaceful and scenic, with stunning views of the surrounding hills and aquaculture farms. Our host was warm and knowledgeable, sharing stories about oyster farming that gave us a real appreciation for the tradition. We got to taste fresh oysters straight from the sea along with mussels and local wine. The freshness and simplicity of it all made it even more special. It’s not a flashy experience, but that’s part of the charm. Peaceful, authentic, and utterly delicious. Great for couples or small groups looking for something unique and off the beaten path. Tip: bring sunscreen, a hat, and your appetite!

The view was beautiful, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The oysters were underwhelming compared to others we’ve had at different farms. They asked us how it was and we just told them our truthful opinion. Which was that we’ve never seen croatian oysters at least at the restaurants that we’ve been to so far, we’ve only had french oysters. What made the visit even more disappointing was the way we were treated. We felt looked down on and possibly discriminated against, which was beyond awkward and made us uncomfortable. We were ignored the many times we spoke to them. The oyster guy only spoke with our tour guide and his helper in their own language. When we were spoken too, it was passive aggressive and honestly degrading. We’ve been to much better oyster farms where both the service and the seafood were far superior. On a side note, the mussels were well cooked and yummy! But, i wouldn’t go there again and i wouldn’t recommend anyone else to either, especially if you’re asian because they won’t treat you well 🤣🤣

The best experience of our entire two weeks in Croatia. Hands down. The owner was amazing. The food and drinks out of this world - so fresh, so delicious. Everything from the boat ride to learning about the farming to the charming picnic area - just spectacular.
