Great public park for picnics and social outdoor events next to the Savica river. The park has free barbecue spots for grilling as well as benches and tables. There’s plenty of space between the picnic spots, so everyone can feel that they have their own little outdoor private event. The park has good ratio and placement of trees, which makes it shaded over a hot day. There’s also big grass areas for people that prefer to have an old school picnic style on the grass floor the park is also equipped with a male and female male restroom and 4 freshwater sources. The park is very popular so keep in mind that there’s no reservation system for the picnic spots. It’s a first come first serve system. aside, social gatherings the park is perfect for kids birthdays and outdoor games events. The only setback is that there’s no trash bins or trash designated areas so you need to pick up after yourself. It’s also a popular spot for teenagers and kids which sometimes don’t clean after themselves.
