Good experience, aqueduct is superb. Still I see some room for improvement especially on the story telling level to grasp more on what is displayed and how it is interlinked. Keep on moving, as I have seen some artefacts are fresh finds and still to be researched.

We visited with two kids (7 and 9 yr old). Both found it very interesting. We needed about 1.5 hours to see the entire collection. Most of the information signs are translated to English. The highlight of the exhibition is the old roman aqueduct. The kids would have loved to go further in it, but even as is it is a fun experience. Friendly attendant who provided some extra information. A family ticket was 7 euro.

Muzeum małe, brak parkingu natomiast można samemu zobaczyć podziemny akwedukt. Bilety tanie, ruch bardzo mały. Na miejscu eksponaty z 1 wieku naszej ery. Darmowa toaleta. Na miejscu dostępne latarki

Jako zanimljivo. Vrlo ljubazno osoblje. Gospođa nas je lijepo vodila kroz postav, a u vodovod smo išli sami. Blizu centra je i svakako se isplati pogledati ako se ne bojite uskog i zatvorenog prostora. Preporuka je uzeti tenisice ili sličnu obuću.

A Journey Through Time Beneath Novalja's Streets
Step into the Town Museum of Novalja and prepare to be utterly captivated! This isn't just any museum; it's a portal to the past, a place where history whispers from every stone.
The true star of the show lies beneath your feet: the "Talijanova Buža" (Italian Hole), an ancient underground aqueduct dating all the way back to the 1st century BC. Imagine—this incredible feat of engineering was entirely carved by hand from solid rock! Stretching for an astonishing 1042 meters, with an average width of around 60 cm, it's a testament to the ingenuity and sheer determination of our ancestors. Visitors can explore a fascinating 150-meter section of this timeless wonder, walking in the footsteps of those who built it.
But the museum offers more than just this incredible subterranean journey. It beautifully showcases how our predecessors lived, giving us a heartfelt glimpse into their daily lives, struggles, and triumphs. You'll feel a genuine connection to the rich tapestry of Novalja's heritage.
And a special shout-out to the wonderful, kind museum staff! Their warmth and passion truly enhance the experience, making every visit memorable.
Come and discover the beating heart of Novalja's history. It's an experience that will stay with you long after you leave!

We had a great time at the museum. The staff was very helpful. I would recommend bringing smaller bills for the entrance fee.

Schönes Museum.
Eintritt für eine Familie kostet nur 6 Euro.
Man darf direkt ins Aquädukt gehen, ca. 50 Meter.
Etwas eng drinnen aber interessant.
