Kokoonsa nähden yllättävän pieni. Muutamia hienoja tauluja ja tunti ennen sulkeutumisaikaa viideltä ei juuri väkeä. Yläkerrasta vei hämäävästi lasipariovet toiseen osaan, jossa näytteillä 1900-luvun taidetta. Emme huomanneet näitä ensimmäisellä kerralla ja palasimme takaisin. Ovissa ei ollut opasteita.

This gallery displays some of the finest works from slovenian history. It has a very well curated display and is alwas a pleasan visit. Well worth for anyone even slightly interested in art or history.

I've seen much better galleries. It's small and the cafe they have is expensive AF. The cheapest ice coffee is 8€, what the hell XDD I could have a perfect lunch and I had only one coffee 😂

Average, a rather vague exhibitions that are conservative and boring. It feels like it is more concentrated on selling souvenirs than showing national art. Too much noise towards being commercial and too little content. Fails to fulfill the role of a National Gallery that every country has.
