We made a reservation that stated a 100 euro no show fee for 2. When we showed up we didn't like what we saw on the menu (with few fish options.. we were looking for fresh grilled or baked fish) and left. Then got a confirmation that 'we' cancelled our reservation which we of course didn't.. I did cancel my credit card as I don't want to be charged for taking the effort to show up and not liking the offering. Good reason to also avoid in future..

A wonderful restaurant! We had the black ravioli - absolutely magical. The flavors were refined, and the presentation was beautiful. The service was exceptionally kind and attentive, with a real sense of class. The atmosphere blends the romance of Dubrovnik with the charm of the old town. Highly recommended for a dinner you’ll truly remember!

Stayed here and ate dinner as well, Stan and Maro were fantastic. “Stan the Man” was the general manager and made us feel very welcome for the two nights we stayed in Dubrovnik. Extremely friendly and wonderful staff. Had the Green Ravioli, Fish Soup and other dishes, food and rooms were fantastic! Would definitely be back if I’m ever in Dubrovnik again.

An unforgettable dining experience at Forty Four! Last night’s dinner at Forty Four was nothing short of exceptional. We started with a selection of refined appetizers, including a beautifully prepared carpaccio and a chilled seafood platter that was as fresh as it was flavorful. For the mains, the veal steak was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of depth—while the fresh fish melted in our mouths, capturing the very essence of the sea. Dessert was a chapter of its own. The original soufflé was light yet rich, but the real standout was the Solo Amore cake—absolutely divine, a true masterpiece that lingered on the palate. Special thanks to our waiter, Dinko, whose warm service and attention to detail elevated the entire evening. His professionalism and charm made us feel truly welcome. A place where every bite tells a story. We’ll definitely be back!

Had dinner here tonight and it was absolutely amazing. The food and service were spectacular. My waiter Marin was super friendly and recommended me a great Croatian wine for the dish I chose. One of the best meals I had in Dubrovnik!
