Most things are targeted for tourists, but the merchandise and souvenirs are mostly junk. Sellers generally seemed pushy. From my experience, prices were very high and I feel like we got ripped off for some fruit. This area is worth a quick walkthrough, but I wouldn’t spend much time here and recommend being cautious about what you buy.

Excellent location, in the middle of the old town. The food we bought there was of excellent quality. It is especially nice to see that the elderly have the stand with their small harvest. However, sometimes the prices are quite high. This is of course also due to inflation.
