This used to be a pilgrimage destination - German: Wallfahrtsort, hence the big church. The ruin is quite impressive and definitely worth a visit. There are some information tables about the village and a little bit about the church in the village below the big linden tree. The path to the church is not signed and there are no brown signs from the main road leading the way.
