Camping Excelsior è un accogliente campeggio situato a Monrupino, nel bellissimo altipiano carsico di Trieste. È facilmente accessibile, grazie alla vicinanza con il valico di confine di Fernetti e l'uscita autostradale di Fernetti, ed è aperto tutto l'anno. Offriamo diversi servizi per rendere la vostra esperienza di campeggio unica e memorabile.

Soggiornato due notti. Piazzole e verde molto curate. Proprietari molto gentili e molto accoglienti!! Bagni un po’ datati ma sempre ben puliti e comunque funzionali. Posizione ottima al confine con la Slovenia. Essendo vicino alla frontiera potrebbero esserci dei rumori causati dal traffico ma niente di insuperabile. In 5 min di auto si raggiunge la fermata del tram Opicina che in una decina di minuti ti porta al centro di Trieste.

If you don’t expect glamping, this camping is perfect for you. Basic, but authentic and good enough if you want to visit Triest or surroundings for a day or two. The shower was perfect. Near all pitches were electricity and water available. Costs were fine, €60 for a small camper for 2 nights. First we stood on a pitch with many wasps, so we switched places and then it was perfect. The owners were very kind and warm. Spoke Italian only, but luckily I spoke a little bit of Italian too. There’s not much nearby except for a small store, but when you drive to Opicina there’s restaurants, busses, trams and a lot more shops. Would recommend!

Truffa, si fa inviare i soldi e poi dice di non ospitarmi solo perché ho chiesto una conferma di prenotazione. Dice di avermi restituito i soldi e dopo giorni non ho ricevuto nulla. Per 58€ persone vergognose

Ci siamo fermati in questo campeggio di passaggio ed è stata un’esperienza estremamente piacevole e da rifare. L’accoglienza è calorosa e famigliare, siamo stati accolti con questa esatta frase: “Sentitevi come a casa vostra”.|Il posto è bello e immerso nella natura e un punto a favore è il fatto di essere freschissimo e arieggiato (cosa rara) ed è PRIVO di zanzare.|Veramente grati di aver trovato questo posto.

Dieser kleine Campingplatz mag alt sein und liegt leider direkt am Zubringer zum Zollhof, aber das machen die Betreiber mit ihrer Freundlichkeit allemal wett. Die Hunde höre ich nur mal morgens ebenso wie die LKWs. Ich habe hier 2 Wochen verbracht und fand es ganz ausgezeichnet. Die Nächte waren ruhig, Duschwasser schön warm und ich hatte eine recht ruhige Ecke des Platzes fast für mich allein. Morgens konnte ich wilde Erdbeeren pflücken und keiner hat sich beschwert, dass meine Hängematte am Baum hing. Strom gab es sehr unkompliziert, sogar mit Adapter und ich bekam einen Schlüssel für das Eingangstor, falls ich mal spät zurück komme. Ich komme gerne wieder. Es ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Italien und Triest, dem Karst und den Höhlen von Slowenien und nur eine gute Stunde von einem Badeausdlug in Kroatien entfernt!

The owners may only speak Italian, but they are genuinely warm and hospitable. These days, they rely on technology to help bridge the language gap, which mostly works—though it can still be a bit of a challenge at times. I've been visiting at least once a year since 2010, and I can honestly say they always give their best. They consistently welcome us with a smile, and while the amenities are quite simple, the service is as good as you could hope for in this setting. We usually go there for caving, and have never ran into trouble in that regard. They once even offered some kitchen equipment (a mixer) that we forgot to bring ourselves. As returning guests, we've built a great rapport, and each stay feels more welcoming than the last. As a campsite with mobile homes and caravans, and not a luxury establishment, I really appreciate this place.

The owners, while they don't speak foreign languages (just italian) are extremely welcoming. They do make up for the language barrier with technology nowadays, though it can be a bit tricky still. I have been there at least once a year since 2010 and I can confidently say, they do their very best. They always greet us with a smile, and the catering, while very basic, is as good as one can hope for. For example, whenever our gas ran out, the old owner would change the tank himself, and would make sure that everything is in working order. Since we are returning guests, we know each other very well, and the welcoming is still getting better with every visit. We even spent our last New Year's Eve there. Still, I must say, to avoid confusion: this IS a camping with mobile homes and caravans, and not a 5 star hotel. But for a camping, I rate this establishment 10/10.

Kedves, barátságos tulajdonosok, ideális szállás barlangász túrákhoz. Nem messze van bolt, a szomszéd településen sok étterem. Rendszeresen jövünk, bátran ajánlom!

Undorító hozzáállás barátságtalan, kukkoló személyzet. Abszolút nem ajánlom. Két autóval, Abysso di Fernetti barlangot jöttünk bejárni ami a camping területén nyílik. A portás bácsi nem beszél semmilyen nyelven, hosszú vitatkozás árán tudtunk csak bejutni. Zsebbe elrakott (számla nélkül) fejenként 7 eurót "barlang díjként". (Számlát nem kaptunk) Ezek után közölte hogy nem használhatunk semmit, se WC, se vízvétel a campingben. Követett minket és videózta mit csinálunk. A beépitett kamerákat úgy forgatta hogy az átöltöző nőket figyelte. A vége az lett hogy az eltervezett barlangtúra meghiúsult. Botrányos és felháborító.

Rendkívül barátságtalan hely. Állandóan a felszerelt kamerákkal figyel a gondnok, ezzel szerintem megszegi a GDPR irányelvet. A saját telefonjával is felvételt készített. Mindenbe beleköt és veszekedik, nem adott számlát, ezzel szerintem adócsalást követ el. Zajos hely.

Minősíthetetlenül bunkó személyzet, ilyennel kempingben még nem találkoztam. Pénzt kérnek a barlang látogatásáért és a parkolásért, de a wc-t nem lehet használni. Azon kívül kamerázzák az ember minden lépését, azt is, aki éppen öltözik.

A kempingbe jöttünk barlangászni, öltözés közben a tulaj kamerával videózott minket. Semmiben nem volt együttműködő, zsebbe kellett fizetni a parkolásért. Ezek mellett miután befizettük a "hivatalos" belépőt még azon is problémázott hogy a mosdót használtuk. (Szerintem jobb mintha körbe jelöltük volna a kemping bokrait)
