I did few different levels with different teachers already ( you getting new teacher randomly for next level) and all were great. Classes are very interactive and I feel that everyone is making good progress. Highly recommended

The two group evening courses that I have attended have been excellent. The quality of teaching and the teacher has been second to none, which is hugely important when you're trying to make a serious effort to learn Croatian to a reasonable degree. The prices are more than reasonable for the group courses, and it's been a good way to meet other people.

I had the pleasure of taking the fast-paced, online A1 class at CLA. The entire experience was excellent. My instructor was exceptional--although each class was nearly 3 hours long, there was never a point at which I felt like the class dragged. The pacing was right on and each class contained a mixture of group exercises in break-out rooms, impromptu Q&A, and games, among other things. We covered a lot over the course of 12 weeks (specifically, cases and present tense verbs, as well as useful vocabulary) and I now have a strong foundation to continue learning Croatian. Overall, I felt that the course was a very good value. In addition to the class itself, there was a Google classroom set up that contained plenty of practice exercises and links to resources. The course included an in-house textbook of nearly 100 pages of material and we completed the entire book in the fast-paced course (although we didn't do absolutely every exercise). The assigned homework for each class was just enough to practice. I never felt overwhelmed by the amount of work. I would highly recommend CLA!

THE MASTERS OF TEACHING CROATIAN LANGUAGE. Instructors are the best- excellent at teaching the material, and very supportive and encouraging along the way. The office staff are also very accomodating and responsive. I love the size and structure of the in-person classes and I really enjoy the focus on conversational learning. The materials and methods are also incredibly enjoyable and interactive which makes learning such a difficult language feel fun and almost effortless. The mid-week cultural events provide a great opportunity to connect with classmates, explore Croatia, and encourage learning beyond the classroom. I will definitely continue my Croatian language learning journey with CLA.

También gracias a Tihana por su profesionalismo y amabilidad al facilitar la comunicación con la escuela vía correo electrónico. De todas las escuelas que he probado, CLA ha sido mi favorita por su estilo de enseñanza y los materiales digitales que complementan las lecciones. ¡Planeo seguir estudiando en línea con ellos y estoy muy emocionada por continuar aprendiendo croata en esta escuela!

The classes are very interactive and the groups are super fun. You learn Croatian in a playful way. You are encouraged to speak as much Croatian as you can. But you are supported a lot :)
