The museum is very well set up. But the five stars should be given to the employee at the front office who was very polite, helpful and kind as well. We had a car issue while parked right outside and she went out of her way to help us figure out a solution. Thank you so much for everything, it's definitely worth a visit as well.

Fascinating insight into recent history of Croatia and the former Yugoslavia. One if the most hands on museums I've been to. So much to see, touch, smell, hear and learn.

A comprehensive and well presented museum with many elements of life in Yugoslavia. The interactive stuff was glitchy but the staff are helpful and share jokes about this. Cute gift shop. Even well educated people may leave with something new.

An absolute must visit off-the-beaten-path gem when visiting Dubrovnik. The exhibits were very informative and engaging. Really recommend for anyone visiting who is interested in history. Bonus of being walking distance from the cruise terminal if you're cruising!

This is a wonderful museum—my husband and I absolutely loved it. If you're arriving by ferry or have time before your departure, it's well worth a visit. Having spent the first years of my life in the former Yugoslavia, walking through the exhibits felt like stepping back in time: the same kind of kitchen my grandmother had, the same old scale, and many other familiar details. It was both nostalgic and deeply moving.
