The ferry access was easy to get to and from Lokrum island. We took the third ferry of the day and went to the replica iron throne and there was no one else there, later in the day it was definitely busier. Swimming off the backside of the island was beautiful, but younger kids might appreciate the calmer swimming area near the ferry drop off. We also had a lovely lunch at one of the restaurants on the island and we walked up to the old fortress. It’s a small island, so you can do it all in the span of a few hours. And lastly, there are so many peacocks!

Neem de boot (elke 30min,tickets in de haven zelf te koop met korting indien je een Dubrovnik pass hebt) naar dit prachtig eiland/natuurreservaat waar je alles kan doen. Geniet hier van de prachtige natuur, neem een duikje in de zee vanop de vele 'strandjes' of bezoek de overblijfselen van het fort helemaal bovenaan het eiland vanwaar je ook een zicht hebt op de oude stad. En voor de die hard GOT fans neem ook een foto in de iron throne die door HBO geschonken is aan de stad Dubrovnik.

Great place to visit if you're in Dubrovnik for a few days and fancy a break from the city. Allow 3-4 hours if you want to walk round the whole island or just the main spots will take 2 hours. There are two really nice cafés and a restaurant and some lovely views. And peacocks everywhere too!

Дуже красивий острів, на якому є багато павлінів, які зовсім не бояться людей. Одна з локацій зйомки Гри престолів. Чудова можливість втекти з переповненого туристами Дубровніка у спокійний зелений куточок. Паром із порту ходить кожні 15хв туди-назад, один білет на паром у дві сторони, який також включає в себе вхід на острів коштує 30€, рекомендую купляти білети онлайн, щоб не стояти за ними в черзі. На острові також можна знайти кафе, в якому можна і кави попити, і перекусити, ціни звичайно вищі навіть ніж в старому місті, але атмосфера того вартує.
