We stayed at Valamar Tirena Hotel in early June 2025 and had a great experience. The staff were consistently friendly, proactive, and genuinely helpful. Our room was comfortable, freshly renovated, and cleaned regularly. Breakfast and dinner offered a good range of choices and decent quality. The pool area was spacious, clean, and had both a bar and a café. The water slides were a nice added benefit. Just outside the hotel, there’s a small promenade with a couple of restaurants if you fancy eating out. There’s also a well-equipped gym in a neighboring Valamar hotel, which we used regularly. It’s a fantastic place for families. The Maro Club was a real highlight for our child, with loads of activities like soft play, crafts, games, evening discos, and performances. The staff there were especially impressive: engaged, caring, and clearly great with kids. You can even leave little ones there in safe hands for a while. The only minor downside is that the hotel doesn’t have a beach on-site, but it’s just a short 5–7 minute walk to the nearest one by the President Hotel. All in all, a genuinely family-friendly hotel we’d happily return to. Highly recommend.

Polecam miejsce choć obsługa w szczególności pracujący w recepcji są nieprzyjemni. Parking jest zepsuty , nie można z niego wyjechać trzeba wracać do recepcji z biletem żeby odblokowali i z powrotem a kawałek trzeba iść w wysokiej temperaturze i jest to denerwujące i uciążliwe, przecież to powinno być naprawione od razu - hotel jest bardzo drogi więc powinien naprawić parking od ręki i wymienić obsługę recepcji na miłych dla klientów ludzi. Basen fajny choć woda bardzo zimna, nie podgrzewana za co minus. Jedzenie w hotelu to poezja. Obiady które tam jedliśmy były najlepszymi obiadami jakie w życiu jedliśmy ( mówię o obiadach hotelowych) w żadnym hotelu na świecie nie jedliśmy lepszych obiadów - to za to te gwiazdki dobre - koniecznie idźcie na obiady hotelowe choć są drogie jak zresztą cały Dubrownik. Ogólnie w hotelu jest czysto, przyjemnie, restauracje dobre, atrakcje dla dzieci są fajne - sala dla dzieci jest mega fajna, bardzo polecam za to też duży plus. Jestem zadowolony z tego miejsca i polecił bym znajomym. Pozdrawiam

Great workout in the HIIT fitness class, in 20 minutes my legs were totally burning. The instructor was very attentive but pushed me just the right amount. Highly recommended.

Zdecydowanie nie jest to hotel wart swojej ceny. Jest czysty i ładny, ale na tym się kończy. Podstawowe pokoje są małe i niewygodne, a apartamenty to dwa połączone pokoje. Brak room service (można zamówić z pokoju, ale trzeba odebrać w barze) Obsługa uśmiechnięta, ale nic nie da się załatwić. Jakość jedzenia w restauracji na niskim poziomie i brak lokalnych produktów. Brak obsługi przy kolacji, kelnerzy tylko sprzątają przy stolikach i przynoszą płatne napoje (przy tej klasie hotelu, powinien być wskazany stolik oraz zaproponowane napoje). Ogólnie wyjechałem bardzo niezadowolony. Brak darmowej wody w hotelu co przy takim klimacie jest absurdem. Nie ma nawet dozowników. Ta cała strefa dla dzieci jest bardzo rozbudowana i to jest super, lecz sama strefa z opieką dla dzieci już bardzo mała. Jest kilka wyjść i nie można już tam dziecka samego zostawić nawet na chwilę. Dzieci tam mogą wchodzić i wychodzić, są tylko panie za ladą, które na nic nie patrzą.

Sur une presqu’île de Dubrovnik, très grand ensemble d’hôtels reliés les uns aux autres, avec infrastructures communes (piscines, toboggans, restaurants, spa, salles de jeux, restaurants) Chambre standard bien équipée, spacieuse avec grande salle de bains. Pas mal d’enfants donc calme relatif, pas (trop) dr problèmes er transats réservés à 5h du matin… Personnel local agréable et serviable. Plages privées aux alentours, très chères et pas très agréables Eau de mer chaude et limpide Centre de plongée accueillant avec belle plongée proche Restaurant du soir et petit-déjeuner bien fournis Pour le midi, quelques restaurants disponibles, malgré tout chers

The ultimate place to spend a vacation with kids. Maro club is a perfect designed spot for kids. The hotel is very well mainteined, clean, with very nice staff. 5+ stars. Great pools.

Great Hotel Experience Ruined by Unresolved Car Damage in Hotel Parking Our family stayed in August 2024. The rooms were clean, breakfast really tasty, and Maro club for kids was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, the whole experience was destroyed by mishandling of damage caused to our car in the hotel's designated parking area. We didn't use our car during our stay. On departure day, we discovered bad scratches on our car door. The concierge was initially very helpful - documenting the damage and assuring us their insurance would cover it, asking us to follow up by email after returning home. I received a prompt initial response from Marko (Assistant to the Director) confirming submission of documentation to their insurer. In September, Marko requested additional photos showing the car registration, which I immediately provided. Since then I've heard nothing despite follow-up emails to both Marko and Dragan (who was copied on previous communications). They have completely stopped responding to my inquiries about the claim status. What started as a wonderful family vacation has turned into frustration and financial loss. Such poor handling of a legitimate issue demonstrates a concerning lack of guest care once you've checked out. Despite enjoying our actual stay, this unresolved situation means we cannot recommend this hotel to others or consider returning ourselves to any of Valamar group resorts. update 24/7/2025 1 star review triggered management to action, they seem to have followed up with the insurance company. Now the Insurance company sent notification that they closed the case without reason to payout because they have found no signs of damage on the additional pictures from late September 2024 that Marko requested and received promptly. I had the damage repaired at the end of August.
