This is a wonderful hotel, clearly above 3 stars, staff was amazing, great breakfast and a 12 min walk to Split Old Town.

Excellent economy option for staying near Split center. Very friendly and flexible service
Booked last minute as there was a mixup with our other accommodation. The staff were so helpful. The hotel was clean and comfy and it was really reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. It was particularly hot in Split so they let us keep our room so we could wander in the morn and then use the room when we got back. Overall a very positive experience.

Mali obiteljski hotel. Izuzetna pohvala cjelokupnom osoblju i vlasnicima. Uvijek treba pohvaliti ljubaznost, susretljivost, prijaznost cjelokupnog osoblja. Treba cijeniti trud i rad “malih obiteljskih hotela” koji nastoje pronaci nebo pod ovim ugostiteljskim nebom. Samo tako naprijed i dalje. Svaka cast💪💪💪💪
What I liked the most is the friendliness of the staff. Consul looks like a boutique hotel, quite cozy with a nice shaded area outside for coffee or anything else. It has everything you need in the room, except the safe.Room is small but very clean. Bed was ok, the vinyl on one side of my bed was worn out so sadly. Not much of a selection for breakfast but the food was in good quality. Bus stops to airport or old town are a few steps away. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood too.|The drawback is there is no elevator. Staff helped me bring my suitcase during check in and check out. Really appreciated the gesture.

This is a great place to stay. It appears to be family-owned and run by two daughters, Margarita and Magdalena. They are both charming and really helpful. We arrived at 9.30am expecting to leave our bags at reception. However, Margarita was more than happy for us to check into a room straight away, and even offered us breakfast. We ate dinner in the restaurant and really enjoyed the traditional cooking. The ćevapi, in particular, was delicious and very reasonably priced. The evening finished with a round of drinks on the house before we retired to our balcony prior to going to sleep. We had a good sized suite with two bedrooms, with probably the largest bed that I'd ever seen in our room. There was a good selection of fruits, eggs, cheeses and meats for breakfast, setting us up nicely for the day. I would definitely stay at the Consul hotel again. The hospitality, in particular, was up there with the best that I've experienced anywhere else.

Nous avions un petit appartement avec deux chambres, bien équipées, confortables et calmes.|Le petit déjeuner est conforme à nos attentes dans ce type d'hôtel ***.|Bien situé, pas trop éloigné du centre, nous avons opté pour un Uber à 5.10 € plutôt que la marche pour nous rendre au centre.

Très bon hôtel. Endroit très calme avec parking privé. A 15 min. a pied du Old Town et de la Riva. Le petit déjeuner (buffet) est très bon et les repas sont excellent. Le personelle est adorable, souriant 😃 et très avenant (Hotel familial)🥰 Je le recommande sans esiter.

Mycket trevligt familjehotell, beläget i lugnt område i staden, men ändå nära centrum. Rummet är modernt, rent och väldigt mysigt. Hotellet har parkeringsplatser, restaurang och mycket trevlig och artig personal. Jag rekommenderar starkt detta hotell.

Personal muy muy servicial, atento a todo, sobretodo al idioma, que a pesar de no hablar español, conseguimos entendernos por los esfuerzos del personal, cosa difícil en este país. Por poner algo negativo, es la carencia de ascensor.
