Das Hotel liegt ruhig auf einer Halbinsel und ist umgeben von einem Pinienwald, perfekt zum Spazierengehen. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer im 4. Stock auf Pool und Meer ist herrlich. Teilweise ist es schwer, eine freie Liege zu bekommen, da muss man sich außerhalb etwas suchen. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, bietet jedoch kaum Abwechslung. Die Hauptspeisen beim Abendessen haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt, Vor- und Nachspeisen sind ausbaufähig. Gestört haben uns die zum Teil sehr unfreundlichen Kellner. Vielen Dank für das Entgegenkommen, da wir krankheitsbedingt früher abreisen mussten.

We stayed at Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna in July 2025. First, I’d like to acknowledge the many positives: The hotel itself is visually impressive, with a welcoming entrance, modern and stylish lobby and well maintained facilities. The outdoor pool area is large and beautiful, and the beach access is lovely. There's also a heated indoor pool, which is great on rainy days. The buffet meals, both at breakfast and dinner, were generally good with a rich variety, fresh ingredients and good taste overall. However, the desserts were disappointing: industrial, low quality and not up to the level expected with the other food quality. Unfortunately, the room experience and service significantly detracted from our stay. We were initially assigned room 128, which felt like one of the worst located rooms in the hotel. It was very small for three people, and once the extra bed was there, there was barely space to move. The balcony faced a roof (first floor) with no view at all. Most concerning there was a bee or wasp nest directly on the balcony wall and we couldn't open the balcony door and of course not sit outside. When I asked reception to change rooms, I was told no alternatives were available. Only after the housekeeper came, saw the problem with the bees and confirmed nothing could be done, were we suddenly offered another room (167). This felt frustrating and frankly disrespectful as if my complaint wasn’t taken seriously until someone on staff saw it themselves. In the new room, the bed for our teenage son (14.5 years old) was a fold out sofa bed, which was uncomfortable and not suitable for someone his size and age. Also, I was surprised to find that There was no electric kettle or coffee/tea set in the room something expected even in basic 4-star hotels. There wasn’t even a complimentary bottle of water upon arrival, which would be a small but appreciated gesture after a long journey. After raising our concerns, we were offered a late check-out until 6:00 PM, but this wasn’t helpful for us as we had a long drive back to Italy and had to leave early anyway. While we appreciated the gesture, it didn’t truly address the core issues we experienced. Overall, we felt that the experience did not match the price we paid. Considering the quality of the room and the service. the value for money was not adequate

Beste Lage: direkt am Meer! Top Service - keine Ahnung, wie viele Menschen dort arbeiten, aber es macht immer jemand sauber oder räumt auf, wow! Essen beim Buffet morgens und abends lässt keine Wünsche offen! Gerne kommen wir wieder! Hängematte mitnehmen 😉

Hotel ma vsetko co je potrebne k oddychu. Prijemne izby. Vybore jedlo. Udrziavana zahrada s lehatkami. Pristup do mora - morskych jezkov sme nevideli. Od centra Porec ca. 4km - moznost dopravy turistikym vlacikom - kusok od hotela. My sme pouzili kolobezky ca. 15min. po pobrezi.

Wir haben eine wunderschönen Urlaub hier verbracht. Zimmer sehr sauber,geräumig, bequeme Betten, vom Balkon (Premium Zimmer) herrlicher Blick auf das Meer. Anlage, 2 große Außen Pools, eines mit Meerwasser. Innenpool. Um die Pools ist mit den Liegen meist sehr voll. Es gibt aber einen Liegebereich zum großen Teil unter Pinien und mit Blick auf das Meer. Liegen hatten wir immer zur Verfügung. Auch hier alles gepflegt und sauber. Essen. Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet ausreichend, große Auswahl (Fisch!), abwechslungsreich und sehr gut. Es gibt zum Frühstück nur Kannenkaffee, wir können aber die Kritik nicht verstehen. Ein Kaffee wie es in früher gegeben hat. Abends gemütliche Lounge auch hier relativ große Getränke Auswahl. Preislich Niveau wie in Österreich, vielleicht ein wenig darunter. Also auch Okay. Fazit. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub. Nur zum empfehlen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Pozitívumok: A szálloda gyönyörű és csendes helyen fekszik, rengeteg az árnyékos strandrész. A tisztaság az egész komplexum területén (szoba, közösségi terek, étterem, medence és strand környezete) makulátlan. A félpanziós ellátás mindent kielégítő, hatalmas a választék és ízletesek az ételek. Rengeteg a tengeri hal, kagyó stb. És néhány negatívum: - a szobához nem járt bekészített kozmetikai törlőkendő és tastápoló sem. Ez máshol már alap. - a szobánkban található asztal meglehetősen kopottas volt, a sötétítő függöny pedig le volt szakadva - a komplexum egész területén nem kapható töllcséres fagylalt (a medencék könyékén és a strandon sem)

This hotel is top class, the location is perfect, and the wider resort has well-kept grounds and is very clean. I have visited this hotel with my family four times now, and it has always been maintained to a very high standard. Some families may not like the absence of a sandy beach, but we much prefer being around a pool, so this is not an issue for us.||The staff are great. Room cleaners are always quick and efficient, and they do the rooms up nicely each day. Waiters and bar staff all have a positive attitude and are very friendly, making you feel at home. At some hotels, you feel like you are being served by robots, but the staff here are thorough and attentive. They often strike up conversation, which creates a great atmosphere around the hotel. It was nice to be recognised by some of the staff we spoke to during our stay last year. The maintenance team is also very good. We had a couple of very minor issues, both of which were sorted out right away. Reception is helpful as well.||The resort is a little bit out of the way from Porec and other places, so keep that in mind if you are not a pool dweller like myself. A taxi into Porec is usually the best option or you can hire a car if you want to explore. We have done this in previous years but just wanted to relax this time. You can also get a speedboat taxi, normal taxi boat or the road train. We still enjoyed a couple of nights in Porec, but the hotel buffet is very good, probably one of the widest spreads I have seen at any hotel. There is always pizza and fries at dinner for picky eaters too. There are plenty of shops and cafes around the resort and within a short walking distance to grab lunch if you are on bed and breakfast or half-board.||SOME SLIGHT CRITICISMS ||Both pools were closed for maintenance at different times during our stay, but only one at a time, so there was always somewhere to swim. However, this work should be done during the off-season. The pool bar tends to play exactly the same music every day. I would prefer if they could put on a mix for some variety. The bottled water price felt excessive at €5 for a 0.75L bottle of Jana, while the nearby market sells 1L for €1.30 only, significantly less. While a markup is expected, wanting bottled water with a meal makes you feel cornered into paying an excessive price. I am generally tolerant of children, especially during peak season, but staff seemed too lenient with disruptive behaviour. Kids riding scooters indoors in the lobby and restaurant (yes the restaurant) at night was noisy and unsafe for elderly guests and waiters moving quickly with trays full of drinks. It felt like an accident waiting to happen, yet no intervention occurred. Some parents seem okay with, which is to be expected, their children behaving disruptively without teaching the basics of mindfulness towards others. I also saw young children climbing on gym equipment, which is distracting to older teens and adults trying to exercise properly. The indoor spa pool, likely being warmer, was always full of kids, making a relaxing swim difficult during the day.||Overall, this is a great hotel and deserving of a five-star review rating. The criticisms are too minor from my personal perspective to knock anything off, but may be worth keeping in mind depending on what you are looking for. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.
