During our stay at the hotel, we had the pleasure of being cared for each morning by Mara in the breakfast area. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made a meaningful difference in our experience. Mara went above and beyond to ensure our family and especially our 2 year old daughter felt welcomed and well looked after - always greeting us with a kind smile and anticipating our needs with grace and professionalism. It’s rare to encounter someone who brings both heart and excellence to their work the way Mara does. Her care turned a simple breakfast into a comforting and memorable part of our day. Great property with the staff to compliment it. The location is close enough to the ferry and the old town. Shout out to Frank at reception (can’t remember the Croatian spelling). The modern exterior was a plus as well. We loved it there

The hotel is in a terrific location right along the boardwalk, 10 min walk to old town, and 5 min walk to ferry port. Our room was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable. I did find the lighting in the room, especially in the bathroom by the mirror to be lacking. Snacks and a bottle of water were left in the room upon our arrival which was much appreciated. It would have been great to have a bottle of water left each day, especially in the summer months. If your room is close to the beach you can hear people partying all. night. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was plentiful.

For the price of this hotel, the experience left much to be desired. Given this is one of the more expensive hotels in Split, expected much more hospitality. For example; staff were cold, on check-in very little information provided (no WiFi password), ac was centrally controlled (have to ring reception but they don’t mention this on check in), breakfast was average (no change and I stayed 3 days), pool was tiny (no towels there, cushions on the loungers, ability to order drinks etc). The room was spacious and clean but everything else lacked that made this a very unmemorable stay and wouldn’t return.

I would describe this hotel as fine excluding my issue, but our room does not have a standing shower. We are staying here 4 nights and have to get into the tub and lay down as we rinse off. You can extend the shower head but I’m a tall man and it cannot extend past my belly button, nor is there anything to hang the shower head on while you use soap or shampoo. I haven’t experienced another hotel anywhere that has a full bath but no standing shower option. I believe my room seems to be unique in this as pictures of the showers in other reviews are different. There’s a few things like this in the hotel that feels like trying to be luxurious or design focused but do so at the cost of the basics but they are relatively small things. I spoke with the staff about it and they made it seem like it was totally normal to not be able to stand while showering. It’s 90 degrees here this week and I’m showering twice a day like this. If this hotel were cheap I would take it as maybe a cultural difference or a mistake on my part, but it is not and for this reason I couldn’t suggest this hotel.
This boutique hotel was an easy walking distance to Diocletian’s Palace in a lovely part of Split. The hotel is modern and very clean. The breakfast that was included in our room charge was beautifully presented and there was a wide variety of food options, including many healthy choices. We chose to eat breakfast outside on the patio; however, there also is indoor seating. We usually never take advantage of free breakfasts at hotels; however, this one was so well presented and delicious that I have to highly recommend it.||We had a room with a nice view of trees and a slight view of the city beach. Most reviewers may not write about a hotel room’s windows; however, I want to do so in my review. The tinted window was big and it swung open to the full view of the trees and sky. It was fantastic! The bed and pillows were super comfy and the bathroom was large and in excellent condition. ||The hotel staff were outstanding. Our flight from Zagreb kept getting delayed and our arrival time into Split ended up being 3 am. Throughout all of our flight delays, I communicated with Frane at the front desk, who helped coordinate a car service to pick us up at the airport. The car service that was used was excellent and the driver was very friendly. This car service cost 80 euros but was well worth it, especially because of our unexpected late arrival. Other front desk staff and the restaurant staff were also very courteous and helpful during our stay.||The hotel is steps from the public beach so when we finally arrived at the hotel at 3:30 am, a quick walk to the beach was the perfect way to start our vacation in Split. There were other people on the beach and we felt very safe even though it was so late.||We didn’t have dinner at the hotel; however, we did get some desserts to bring up to our room. Delicious chocolate lava cake and chocolate orange cake!||Finally, the rooftop pool with great views of the ocean and Split! ||I rarely write reviews, but am writing one for Hotel Briig because it was outstanding.
Right at the beach and within walking distance of old town Split, this architectural minimalistic hotel stands out, inside and out.|We had booked a higher floor seaside room which was close to the rooftop pool, and nicely furnished. Same goes for the modern bathroom with shower. On the first night, we had dinner there outside and the food was really good.|The breakfast was great with ample choice with one exception, the coffees. The capucinno from the machine was made with a sugared powdered milk which ruined it. If you want the handmade version, it comes at a charge. But they ended up giving us the golden tip: take an Americano from the machine and ask us for warm (frothed) milk.||Why not 5 stars? Because there are a few glitches to be fixed. The timer on the parking garage lights is set so short, my wife ended up jumping up and down in front of the motion detector while I loaded the bags into the car. And the airco in the room can be set at 21 or 22C, nothing else. So it takes a bit of fiddling to avoid it turning on during the first hours of sleep.||But all in all, nice property and staff, good location, good breakfast.

Excellent mattresses/beds, tasteful furniture, beautiful views of the sea, brilliant breakfasts (ask for the avocado and salmon toast!). I wish the good cappuccinos were included (one can order the good cappuccinos from the bar at an extra cost - otherwise there is mediocre coffees/cappucinos from a big machine from the buffet table). We will return!
