I am writing this review after posting 4 stars yesterday and after the area manager, Sebastjan, replied. I was in a rush yesterday and could not leave a proper review. So, here it goes. Lars & Sven is famous in Slovenia and Ljubljana in particular, for allowing gourmet burgers to be savoured and appreciated by both foodies and not-so-enthusiastic eaters. This spot in Rudnik is convenient as it is located in the heart of the shopping area, but it suffers a little during peak hours for its limited seating. This is particularly true either in high winter or high summer when too cold or too warm. The location is not particularly glamorous (but neither is the area, to be fair) but their spot is quite pleasant, modern with an industrial vibe. The food bit. The burger selection (standard in all their joints) offers tasty alternatives of different meats and a vegetarian option as well. MUST TRY are the blackadder burger and the Black Angus Roastbeef. The beer selection here features national artisanal beers (both lager and IPA) as well as some international brands like Staropramen. Prices are in line with the average burger but, if considering other worldwide chains (which I will not name) that do not guarantee 100% locally sourced meats the prices are actually adequate if not low. Always a pleasure and a treat.
