Pure nature very close to the highway, but still far enough to make you forget the city life and any obligation you might have. Wonderful family with warm welcome and great stories from the in the garden, with amazing lunch (Lilly is a great chef!). Refreshing swim in the river Kupa by the canyon. It can be reached on foot from Lilly's place or by car in a few minutes. Seen them first time, but it was like visiting a friend.

I've stayed at Lilly's Paradise twice now. Paradise is the perfect word for this place. Lilly and Ivan are amazing hosts. Her garden is filled with little surprises and beautifully arranged. The Kupa river is close by and the perfect place to swim and relax. Lilly took me into the forest to find mushrooms and then cooked up the most delicious soup I ever had. Her eggs, honey, garden vegetables and homemade bread are the best. Not only did I do plenty of laughing and relaxing but I also learned so much from them about what to feed chickens, how to know when produce is ripe and ready, which mushrooms are safe, how to cut and stack wood, build stone walls, up cycle anything and everything. All that combined with her charming home, hot shower, quiet village and friends for life. This is a cottage core dream.
