This is the most authentic and incredible dining experience in all of Croatia. You begin your evening with a walk through of Croatian history which is in itself is magnificent. You are seated in the vineyards, overlooking the mountains- surrounded by views and peace. Then the food. You MUST call 1 day prior and order the Peka. We had the veal and lamb, which was tender, decadent, yet simple in the best of ways. Service is something expected. Hospitality is the way they make you feel. And Humac is the definition of hospitality. I would recommend anyone that is looking for authenticity to join them for a life changing meal.

Varázslatos, egyedülálló hangulatú étterem, szuper kedves kiszolgálással. Előre kell rendelni egy nappal a kemencés polipot amit mindenképpen érdemes kipróbálni itt is mert isteni finom.

Excepcional sitio para tomar una auténtica peka. O hemos probado muchas pero dudo que haya una mejor que esta. Encargamos con 24 horas de antelación una peka de cordero que estaba para caerse de espalda. Cordero y patatas, nada más!! Ni sobra ni falta nada. Algo increíble, no se puede describir. Ubicación idílica en lo alto de la isla de Hvar en mitad del campo con el mar al fondo. Local atendido por un matrimonio encantador. Él al mando de los fogones y ella en las mesas. Fue una comida memorable. Tiene vino elaborado por ellos más que correcto. No pierdas la oportunidad de visitarlo. Merece mucho la pena desviarse para probar su cocina.

Visited on 30.09.2024 Cool, atmospheric place! Although when I got there I wasn't sure if I was going to a restaurant or a private property. Only drinks and cakes were available during our visit, hence the one less star. We chose a table with a nice view, then ordered a classic coffee and a sponge cake with coconut - all good! Nice service. Many cats accompanied our visit, which were very sociable. Worth considering if you have a hair allergy.
