We hebben vanmorgen ontbeten in een super leuk en knus straatje in Rovinj bij Augusto Coffee Shop. De cappuccino was al heerlijk, maar het gebak was echt het hoogtepunt. Vooral de cookies en de blueberry cake waren verrukkelijk. Het zat helemaal vol en de enige ober moest in z’n eentje het hele terras bedienen. Dat was best een klus, maar hij bleef vriendelijk en hield het goed bij. Een beetje geduld is dus wel nodig, maar dat hoort er ook wel een beetje bij op zo’n fijne plek. We komen hier graag nog eens terug.

Very cute spot in a small street. Great coffee and nice staff. Some small delicious cakes, pastries and sandwiches. Also it’s a dog friendly space. If you love good coffee - a must.

Ottimo posto per fare colazione. Siamo stati due mattine e abbiamo preso sia caffè che cappuccino, oltre al cinnamom rolls e alla carrot cake (si sentiva l'artigianalita' del prodotto). Bravi!

Esperienza pessima, arriviamo in questo locale per fare una veloce colazione, notiamo subito i prezzi leggermente alti ma ci diciamo che non importa visto che dalle foto su google maps sembra tutto molto buono. Intanto semplicemente per prendere l’ordine ci hanno messo circa 20 minuti, dopo aver ordinato (un cappuccino, un tè freddo fatto in casa, una fetta di torta al limone e un roll alla cannella) aspettiamo altri 20 min e poi ci arriva tutto. Tenete conto che era tutto già pronto, l’unica cosa da preparare era il cappuccino. Il cappuccino era pessimo, la torta ci è arrivata sbagliata e, la cosa più allucinante, il tè freddo mi arriva in un bicchiere con all’interno un cubetto di ghiaccio abnorme e di conseguenza di vero e proprio prodotto ci sarà stato neanche una tazzina. Per il resto il cibo era molto buono, nulla da dire al riguardo. Facciamo per andare a pagare con la carta e la commessa tira fuori un cartellino con scritto “CASH ONLY :)”, non avendo contanti (ed essendoci seduti lì senza aver notato minimamente il cartellino in quanto piccolissimo) siamo dovuti andare a ritirare per poi tornare lì. La nostra veloce colazione prima di andare al mare è durata circa 50minuti. Sconsigliatissimo!

They completely dismissed us and acted so rude. Despite the fact it was written up we do not recommend. Extremely disrespectful and the coffee was not worth it.

Idyllisches Kaffee in den Gassen von Rovinj. Das der Laden gut ist, ist kein Geheimnis mehr aber wir haben trotzdem durch Glück noch einen Platz zu zweit mit Kind und Kinderwagen bekommen. Dadurch dass es sehr voll war hat es ein bisschen gedauert bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde, die dann aber sehr schnell kam. Wo bekommt man heutzutage noch einen leckeren Cappuccino für 2,90€ ❤️ Iced Latte und Bananenbrot waren auch super und für den kleinen gab es einen kostenlosen "Baby-cino". Super Laden mit schönen Ambiente können wir nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Tucked away in a little alley is this super cute coffee shop. The atmosphere is great, with not only tourists but also locals. We came here every morning during our trip to enjoy coffee and baked goods, all delicious. I don’t think you will find any comparable place in Rovinj.

1 | The best coffee we had during our week in Croatia. My girlfriend worked in a café for years, so she could tell the barista here knew exactly what he was doing. 2 | I had an oat milk flat white and it was well above average. Even the latte art, which is harder to do with oat milk, was excellent. 3 | The café has seating for about eight people inside, with more seats outside in the passageway. They serve lemon water with the coffee. 4 | Prices match the high quality. An espresso costs 2.20 euros, a cappuccino 2.90 euros, and a flat white 3.90 euros. You can pay extra for a specialty fermented coffee, and oat milk costs an additional 0.30 euros. 5 | In addition to coffee, they offer fresh juices, and for food you can get paninis or sweet pastries. 6 | When we visited, they only accepted cash because the card terminal was broken. 7 | The staff were kind and experienced. I would gladly return to this café.

Yesterday we drove from another city to enjoy coffee at this place. We ordered drinks, panini and lemon cake, cookies at the end. We didn’t spend much time there because it was crowded and we had two kids with us. When my husband asked to pay, he observed that we have on the bill Fika bun and Carrot cake, things we did not order. Even though I also confirmed that we did not have them, the waiter insisted that he gave the cake to our son. Btw he is only 2 yo, he does not speak En and he was close to us all the time. At the end the waiter started to be kind of aggressive and returned the money for cake only. It is not about few Eur, it’s about service and attitude. 5+ stars for delicious panini and coffee and 1star for service, Sir! Fun fact - we miss only banana bread on the bill in order to have the entire range of cakes available that morning 😁
