Stumbled upon Skalinada in Split and was blown away! Service was super friendly and relaxed  . We started with a fresh whole sea bass, followed by perfectly dry-aged steak—both were top-notch . The vibe is cozy and casual, with a relaxed outdoor seating area and charming interior (). Drinks are on point too: they have a solid selection of house wines, coffee, and desserts like panna cotta. Highly recommend the tuna tartare and grilled octopus!  Prices felt very fair for the quality—you’ll leave happy and full! Overall, Skalinada hits all the right notes: fresh food, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Perfect spot for a relaxed but memorable meal. Can’t wait to come back!

I had the sirloin steak, and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My partner had the seafood stew, and it was sublime. The service was great too. Can't really fault it and would recommend it to all.

Gutes Essen, Preis-Leistung okay, schlechter Service. Unsere Bestellung wurde vergessen, was nicht schlimm ist, sie haben es selber bemerkt. Schlimm war, dass wir nach dem Essen (auf das wir mind. 40 min. Gewartet haben) rausgedrängt wurden, damit andere Gäste Platz nehmen konnten. Sowas geht im Service gar nicht und habe ich auch noch nie vorher so erlebt. Auch keine Entschuldigung, dass das Warten so lange gedauert hat, kam nicht. Sehr unangenehm.

Absolute Empfehlung! Selten so gut und lecker gegessen wie hier! Thunfischtartare als Vorspeise, Gnocchi, Filetsteak und Tomahawk - jedes Gericht war hervorragend– frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Die Qualität der Speisen ist wirklich Spitzenklasse – man schmeckt einfach, dass hier mit besten Zutaten gekocht wird. Auch der Service war top: super freundlich und aufmerksam.

We ate dinner at the establishment. The food was tasty and beautifully presented. The tiramisu dessert was an extraordinary masterpiece of culinaric art, with a decent price. Also the restaurant staff was kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Somos españoles, y el sitio está muy bien , la comida muy buena y el trato mas de lo mismo, son rápidos y amables y hay mucha variedad de comida, muy recomendable ir, los precios son muy aceptables, no más de 30 euros por persona y las cantidades son generosas.

Seems a bit touristy at first but turns out to be an amazing restaurant serving classic Dalmatian food (section in the menu reserved for specialties). We took the fried squid, stuffed pork loin and sea food fettuccine and everything was to die for!! I highly recommend! Staff was also nice :)

Location of the restaurant is nice but everything else very unprofessional and just beyond awful. I have visited hundreds of restaurants in dozens of countries and this was the first time when I had to leave food on my plate, it was too discusting to be eaten. Also consider that bottle of water costs 7 euros (whole meal 67). Sorry to write this but hopefully other people wont make same mistake than we did by choosing this place.

Ein perfekter Start in den Tag! Das Frühstück war einfach hervorragend – frische Zutaten, liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich ein echter Genuss. Der Kaffee war hervorragend und der Service unglaublich freundlich. Ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkommt. Absolute Empfehlung!
