After reading reviews I was a bit worried to rent a car with Goldcar but I can happily say I had a perfect rental with them. I’ve used many different rental companies before with all great experiences and can say they are up there with those great experiences. The team at Zadar Airport were so helpful and we able to add a cross border fee on our rental a week after taking the car. They made the transaction super smooth and easy from start to finish. Bonjour à tous, pour tout les voyageurs lisez attentivement ce commentaire. Nous avons réservé une voiture 1 mois à l’avance notre voiture pour 6 jours sur kayak. Sur la facture reçu par mail il y a marquer les prestations incluses dont les assurances pour le véhicule et les passagers pour tout dommages. Arriver sur place la personne de l'accueil n'est pas agréable du tout dans un premier temps et nous fait son première acte de cinéma. Il fallait payer une assurance... alors que c'était compris dans les prestations ! Minimum 130€. Je lui ai bien fais comprendre qu'elle était pas tombé sur des pigeons et que ça c'était compris dans notre facture. Elle a donc abandonné à nois faire payer, puis... 2 ème acte, la carte de débit n'est pas bonne. Alors que dans n'importe quel autre pays on a jamais eu de soucis. On avait que celle là sur nous elle a donc pu la prendre comme par magie. C'est la qu'on voit que tout est possible... après ça tour de voiture, alors la c'est du grand acting ils font le tour nickel, mais ce que vous devez d'aire avec ces voleurs c'est surtout bien prendre le temps de faire votre vidéo entière du véhicule devant eux plus des photos et leur faire noter que le véhicule est sale donc on voit pas tous les défauts !! Le 6 ème jours on restitue le véhicule, on tombe encore sur l'aimable porte de prison... elle a du se souvenir qu'elle n'a pu nous prendre 1 sous. Et la madame s'arrête sur un mystérieux impact sur l'arrête de la porte (un impact gris sur voiture grise gamberge). Elle savait qu'il y avait se défaut et il n'étais pas mentionné sur le rapport le premier jour. Manque de pot sur la vidéo prise on voyait que l'impact était la au premier jour... elle est répartit une main devant une main derrière en ne faisant que la moitié du tour de la voiture MDR. En bref dès voleurs comme j'ai jamais vue. Allez ailleurs !!!

A fuir une agence qui cherche à essayer de vous ponctionner votre argent, jai fais une réservation sur internet de chez moi, arrivé la bas madame a insisté pour que je prenne une assurance en plus, il etait hors de question que je paye en plus, apres elle m'a clairement dit vue qu'il ya ecrit "débiteur" sur ma carte de credit quelle ne pouvait pas prendre en compte ma carte pour débiter la caution de 1250e et qu'il fallait refaire une autre réservation!! Pour encore payer plus chère. Pareil jai insisté, je suis restée avec elle presque une heure. Et pour couronner le tout au moment du dépôt du véhicule a la fin de ma location elle vient inspecter le véhicule de font en combre, pour trouver le moindre impact ! Manque de peau pour elle il yavait aucun impacte, elle a voulu me coller un impact qui yavait deja avant meme que je prenne le véhicule, alors la je lui ai dit meme pas dans tes rêves tu vas me faire sauter la caution. Heuresement j'avais BIEN PRIS LE VEHICULE EN PHOTO/VIDEO le jour ou jai pris le vehicule. Je lui ai montré la preuve et de la, madame a dit "its ok" et elle est partie avec la haine sur son visage. Jai détesté l'accueil, jai détesté la prise en charge. Même mettre une étoile cest trop pour moi.

Cześć. Wynająłem samochód bez wcześniejszej weryfikacji i sprawdzania, tak na spontanie. Po wpłaceniu zaliczki wtedy zacząłem czytać i trochę się zmartwiłem negatywnym komentarzami. Że naciągają na powstałe szkody, że złodzieje i takie tam negatywne opinie . Rozumiem że można się zdenerwować i nieźle rozzłościć jak zostaje Ci potrącone z depozytu parę stów euro. Ale jak oddawałem citroena C3, miałem okazję zaobserwować zdanie jak i przekazanie samochodu dla klienta. Grupa 5 osób młodych z Niemiec przy odbiorze Forda Pumy nie zrobiła sobie ani jednego zdjęcia tak dla siebie i do weryfikacji przy oddawaniu auta. Według mnie chłopak który przekazuje i odbiera samochody robi to dobrze. Mnie poinformował i pokazał szkody jakie miał samochód, miałem czas na obejrzenie i zrobienie sobie fotek. Pani w okienku miła i komunikatywna tłumaczy i objaśnia. Myślę że gdybym miał kolejny raz odwiedzić Zadar to skorzystałbym z oferty tej firmy. Pozdrawiam .

After returning the car another lady asked us if we had their insurance. Only after I said no, she looked super thoroughly after the car. Indeed, she apparently found a scratch that she said was caused by us which I guarantee you is not the case. For it to be a damage the actual car paint has to be affected and you have to be able to feel it. Everything else is regular wear and tear and is not the liability of the renter. We inspected the car in the beginning and looked at pre-existing damages with a person form goldcar and he said don’t worry, there is only two small scratches but all the other minor ones are neglectable. The car was rather dirty and parked in the sun so since there were no other apparent damages we did not take any more pictures, since you could not see anything at all due to the dirt of the car and the sunlight. Anyways, the lady said we caused that damage, which we did not. Furthermore the scratch is not a substantial scratch since you cannot feel it when touching with your finger and we polished it away with our micro fabric tissue. The picture that was taken by the lady is misleading and was taken before we polished it away and also mirrors a scratch from a neighboring car. Furthermore the lady who “discovered” the damage laughed with her colleague at us and then got rather aggressive after I disputed the damage. This was super unprofessional behavior. The charge for a not seeable and feel-able “damage” was 437.50€. Nobody could explain to me why it was that high. I also never approved that, was never given time or opportunity to read the Terms and conditions about damages (they are not clearly visible when signing the contract because they are inside their hut and you have to lean in to see them, which is only possible after the staff tells you to do so. This is a breach of the law. Furthermore I was pressured to sign and since my flight was leaving in less than one hour I saw no other choice. This felt like extortion. The only thing the lady said was “its car, not bicycle”. What an unprofessional statement. I have rented over 20 cars in the last 5 years and never had any issues whatsoever and always did my due diligence. I also never experienced that unprofessional and unfriendly staff at the location. I am extremely disappointed. If you still decide to use this company I urge you to take as many videos and pictures as possible even if you do not see any damage whatsoever! Make sure to have your own insurance in case there are unpleasant surprises.

Vorsicht!!! Leider kann ich diesen Anbieter nicht weiterempfehlen. Die vorhandenen Schäden am Mietfahrzeug werden im Vorfeld nicht sauber dokumentiert. Trotz sorgfältiger Prüfung bei Übernahme und diverser zusätzlicher Aufnahme nicht dokumentierter Schäden habe ich anscheinend einen sehr kleinen Kratzer übersehen. Bei voller Sonne ist die hier nötige Genauigkeit leider unmöglich. Später bei der Rückgabe wurden dann 425,- EUR meiner Kaution für diesen definitiv nicht von mir verursachten Kratzer abgezogen. Wenn Sie sich nicht nach Ihrem Urlaub über derartige Situationen ärgern möchten, empfehle ich eine andere Autovermietung !!!

I think it corresponds to the common online assessment of goldcar: SCAMMERS. They will charge you for things that supposedly appear after the trip, but are not recorded. I would suggest being careful, taking photos (videos) of the entire car from all sides and even its bottom, because suddenly when you return it, they really want to find some kind of scratch there. I will never use your services again!!!

Gestern um 19 Uhr in Zadar aus Deutschland gelandet. Wir haben bei Goldcar ein Auto über Booking gemietet und mit meiner Kreditkarte vor Monaten bezahlt mit Vollkasko. Wir haben den Wagen für eine Woche reserviert und bezahlt. Da wir aber 6 Std später gelandet sind als in der Reservierung stand , hat man uns ein Auto verweigert, mit der Aussage : sie sind über 4 Std. Zu spät und deshalb haben wir kein Recht mehr auf das Auto bzw. das Geld für die Reservierung ist verfallen. Moment mal , ich habe doch für eine Woche bezahlt, egal wann ich komme oder was für Gesetze herrschen den hier ? Wir sind doch immer noch in der EU oder. Der Mitarbeiter war sehr patzig und hat nur auf Booking verwiesen, ich solle da anrufen und er hat eh kein Auto mehr da. Bei Booking lief nur ein Deutschsprachiger Band mit dem Hinweis das bis Montag (heute ist Freitag) kein Deutschsprechender Mitarbeiter da ist . Fazit : ca 200€ bezahlt und kein Auto bekommen , mussten Bei. Konkurrenz ein Neues Auto mieten zum doppelten Preis und sind genervt um Mitternacht in unserer Ankunft angekommen , die uns angenommen haben obwohl wir 4 Std zuspät angekommen sind. Also das ist ein dreister Betrug. Werde. Zurück in Deutschland sofort ein Rechtsanwalt einschalten und klagen . Das nächste mal fahren wir mit eigenem Auto nach Kroatien 🇭🇷

Esperienza pessima con Gol Car a Zara – assolutamente sconsigliato Esperienza decisamente negativa con questa compagnia di noleggio. Al ritiro dell’auto, la macchina era visibilmente sporca, con perfino una cimice morta all’interno dell’abitacolo. Ho segnalato la cosa all’addetta al desk, ma la risposta è stata un’alzata di spalle: nessun interesse né scuse. La vettura assegnata era una Fiat Tipo. Quando ho chiesto se fosse possibile cambiarla (dato che nel parcheggio c’erano chiaramente altre auto disponibili), mi è stato detto che non c’erano alternative e che erano tutte prenotate. Peccato che lo scenario sotto i miei occhi dicesse il contrario. Come se non bastasse, la carta American Express usata in fase di prenotazione non è stata accettata al momento del ritiro, nonostante sul sito non fosse indicata alcuna restrizione in merito. Abbiamo dovuto fornire una seconda carta, con non poca difficoltà. Al momento della riconsegna, nessun operatore era presente. Nessun controllo, nessun verbale, nessuna firma. Solo una buchetta dove lasciare le chiavi. Per fortuna abbiamo fatto foto e video che dimostrano che l’auto è stata riconsegnata nelle stesse condizioni in cui è stata ritirata, ovvero senza alcun danno. Qualche giorno dopo, la sorpresa finale: un addebito non autorizzato di €150,00 per presunti danni mai causati. Una trovata comoda, visto che non c’è stata alcuna verifica con noi presenti. Ovviamente sto contestando l’addebito e fornendo tutte le prove. In sintesi: servizio scadente, poca trasparenza e zero affidabilità. Sconsiglio vivamente a chiunque stia organizzando un viaggio a Zara di affidarsi a Gol Car. Meglio spendere qualche euro in più e non ritrovarsi fregati al rientro dalle vacanze.
