Small but intriguing museum, in addition to the art currently on display there is a lot of "history of the museum itself" displays here. Don't forget to check out the sculpture garden upstairs as well.

I visited this as part of the Dubrovnik pass so it's worth doing as part of a combined ticket. However I was slightly disappointed by the size of the gallery spread across three small floors. I've been to many MOMADs around the world so I guess I was expecting a bigger display. The other thing was the rather poor experience with the poe-faced unengaging staff member who I saw at 9.00am. How different to the friendly lady who greeted me at the Archeological museum. Please, a smile goes a long way and costs nothing, it's important when you are in a front line role engaging with the public. Do visit the outside terraces which provide good views of the old town. On the ground floor, the shop sells things like "art prints" €15, mugs, art books etc.

A fun small museum just outside the walls of the castle in Dubrovnik. Well worth the walk to see it. The exhibition with the moving works of art was unique. Don’t miss it.

Great museum. It's worth to visit! I really loved the exbitions. There is also very nice shop with souvenirs. It took like 5 minutes from the old city, on the way you can delight with the views on the old town, beach and see. The Dubrovnik Pass includes that museum. I highly recommend it especially for those, who are interested in art.

Kiva museo upeassa kartanossa. Mielenkiintoista taidetta. Museo on nopeasti kierretty läpi, mutta ehdottomasti vierailun arvoinen. Museon terassilta on kauniit näköalat. Työntekijä neuvoi meidät puutarhaan, joka oli museon takana ja se oli mahtava paikka! Kiva salainen puutarha, jossa vaelteli kilpikonnia vapaana. Varsinkin lasten kanssa oli kiva bongailla kilppareita :)

This is a small uphill hike from the bottom gate of Old Town Dubrovnik. Entrance is included in the Dubrovnik pass. We did not particularly like the paintings (not to our particular taste). And we only had access to the permanent display as the temporary display was being replaced. There are likely other items of interest in Dubrovnik worth what limited time people spend in this gorgeous town than this exhibition.

The receptionist told me the museum was closed for an installation. She didn't bother to tell me which parts of the museum were still open. I didn't feel welcome, so I left.
