Just back from my third trip with Uros and I have to say they just get better and better each time. Not because the amazing fishing gets better, but because I realise Uros is way more than a fishing guide. He is a legend who I appreciate more and more with every trip. I have never met anyone who can more effectively get you on a fish (half of which I can't even see!) but also really share the excitement and enthusiasm with every fish, even though he is doing it every day. I consider him an expert in his field, a friend, and someone who is good for the soul! If you want a trip you wont forget, he is your man!

So brilliant. This was my 5th trip with Uroš and again had a great experience. Uroš is great company, 100% honest and reliable. He also has this uncanny ability to see fish when I can’t and to get me on them. Luckily he also has apparently endless patience in helping me catch them - changing flies repeatedly, rescuing flies from nearby trees - and is thrilled when I land them. With his help, I have caught countless Marble and Rainbow trout as well as Grayling. Many of them massive! Thanks again Uroš - we will be back!

I had an incredible experience with Urôs, without a doubt one of the best fishing guides I've ever gone out with. From the first moment you could see his professionalism, knowledge of the area and passion for fishing. He took us to excellent places, well chosen according to the season and water conditions, and at all times he was attentive, patient and willing to teach. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced fisherman, Urôs adapts to your level and makes the day entertaining and productive. In addition, his equipment was in excellent condition, which made everything more comfortable and safe. Thanks to his orientation, we achieved several memorable catches and, beyond that, we spent a spectacular day in nature. With friends I have now had two trips to Slovenia being guided by Uros and both have been superb. For any flyfisher Slovenia is a must and Uros is a fantastic guide. His fishing knowledge is extraordinary and his help invaluable both shared with real enthusiasm and friendliness. I really do not think you could find a better, kinder, harder working guide than Uros. We have booked to go back next year.

It’s quite hard to put a fishing trips of this quality into words, but I’ll try… I’ve fished with uroš twice now. His commitment and enthusiasm for fishing, Slovenia and the history around it are second to none. His knowledge and experience really are the difference between an average and unbelievable trip. Let’s talk about Slovenia. The water quality and quantity here is just unfathomable. There is 1.6km of river per km2 which is absurd. It gives such a variety of fishing and scenery that it sometimes feels you’re fishing in different countries each day. All I can say is, If you’re thinking of booking, do it.

If you are into river fly fishing for trout and grayling then you really should visit Slovenia with its wonderful and varied rivers. When you go to Slovenia the best guide will make the difference between frustration and elation. Uros is the best of the best, and his English is excellent. He knows the rivers and his ability to spot and put you onto a fish is quite exceptional. A turnkey guiding service from a guide who goes beyond expectation to deliver beyond satisfaction.
