BEFORE: The epicenter of “BIGZ” scene - new wave of Belgrade urban music. Much of the building is converted to rehearsal spots; there’s even a concert venue on the top of the building. The scene is rounded with few language schools, experimental theater, medieval knight training (!) and more. Looks and feels derelict, covered with graffiti and filth - looking up to Berlin’s Kreutzberg. Visit it before a hotel or shopping mall is built up in this place! NOW: It’s too late now. So, just the thing I warned about happened - it’s not a hotel now, nor a shopping mall, but an office building. It’s fully renovated and looks great on the outside. However it lost its “old” spirit. The “BIGZ scene” moved on to different places all over the city. It’s a pity that there is not a single place anymore where “everything was happening”.

Ne idem u BIGZ,već do BIGZ-a. Tamo,nadomak taxi stanice sačekuje moje đake,kandidate za vožnju..a tamoponekad i završava nastavu (časove). Vidim da je BIGZ sređen, renoviran, doteran.... Neću da komentarišem,jer ne znam,samo mogu da mislim ko je to kupio....
