I would state that, this is a beautiful beach! There is one problem .... it is beautiful, without or with less people. In season there is almost no place to put your blanket down or approach the water without stepping on someones belongings. It is mostly a family beach, kids love it, the water is .... again, great when not overcrowded. The main issue here is that there are to many housings in Promajna raported to the size of the beach. Water sports rentals are exactly in the middle of the beach and sterring up the vawes and sometimes you can smell the fuel above the water. This is no place for relaxation on the beach! Restaurants are good, actually had real pleasant surprise here, prices are ok. I really hate starting my day on the beach by hunting (it is not an overstatement) a blanket space for my family and after that listen to motorboats and kids and people noise all day, this ends around 6-7pm. After this you can relax in the quiet Promajna, there is no loud music allowed in the village. If you want to escape people and recharge ... wellllll this is not for you ! This was the most crowded beach I ever been on Makarska riviera.
