Wine tasting was great and Tina was a wonderful and engaging host! I would recommend doing the tasting towards the start of your Ljubljana stay because you get some really good knowledge of the area and wines produced that you can use for the duration of your stay in Slovenia.

We had our wine tasting with Tina and really enjoyed our time. Tina created an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere in which we felt very comfortable. We learned a lot and tasted incredibly delicious wines. Anyone coming to Ljubljana and tasting Slovenian wines for the first time should definitely do this tasting!

I'm not a fan of wine, but Wine Tasting Ljubljana I loved. Tanja made a "tour through Slovenia" (on a map), presenting the regional wines and explaining their specificities and history. She was very engaged and interested in our experience.

We had such a great time at the wine tasting. Boris made it fun and insightful to learn more about Slovenian wines. It was a great introduction into what all the different wine regions uniquely have to offer. After this you will start to recognize and appreciate what's on the wine menu at all those great Ljubljana restaurants. The location of the wine tasting is quite special: a 300 year old wine cellar. That alone already makes it worth a visit!

Best experience! I scheduled a wine tasting for one and the other guests that booked to join ended up being no-shows. Instead of turning me away or charging me extra for being alone, Boris kept the show going and gave me an incredible one-on-one tasting. He is so knowledgeable but explains the history of each wine in a way that any level of wine drinker can learn from. He’s truly passionate about wine and his country and it shows in this experience. Definitely visit him!

We were looking forward to this wine tasting evening, highly recommended by a good friend. It was clear from the beginning that while the host was knowledgeable about wines, he was not an experienced host - the explanations felt rudimentary and bland, but we were with a good group of people so the night still seemed promising. About 30-40 mins in, another “guest” barges into the cellar saying they had reservations for 8 - there were only 3 empty seats at the table. The host was clearly unsure of what to do so he told the rude man that his group could join before the latter disappears. Ten minutes later, all 8 of them, some clearly drunk barge in again announcing that they will be joining. At this point, what was supposed to be a nice quiet evening of wine tasting became a loud and obnoxious party for these new “guests”. I am sure that this is most likely an outlier evening for the wine tasting event but we were not pleased and simply left after only one glass of wine. There are so many good places to get great Slovenian wine across the city, so don’t worry if this also happens to you.

My partner and I enjoyed the evening very much and the selection of wines was brilliant. Boris was very knowledgeable about the local wines and an entertaining host. I didn't like that we were charged an extra 6 EUR each for what was essentially a couple of squares of chocolate - this should really be included in the price which was otherwise reasonable. I was also told I would be sent photos from the day but I did not.

A great wine tasting in Ljubljana, we learnt a lot! The guide was great and we were hoping to visit the wine tasting the next day in Bled with the same guy, but unfortunately didn't make it! A mixture of games, guessing wines blindfolded and trying beautiful Slovenian wines. He answered any questions we had, which was great. The Epoca wine was amazing!

I last minute decided to go with some friends to wine tasting Ljubljana. From the beautiful and intimate cellar setting to the delicious and unique wine selection, this 1&1/2 hr experience definitely surpassed my expectations. Our wine connoisseur, Boris, was very knowledgable, friendly and hilarious. It was also very interesting to hear the history of these little known wine regions. I am so glad I decided to do this wine tasting!

A great experience! Such a great way to learn about wine, It was lovely and funny. I participated the Wine Tasting Tour. 7 different types of wine, snack of bread, cheese plate, olives, pumpkin seed oil and some chocolate with wine. Boris introduced us all Slovenian wine regions and added some interesting stories about wine production. For me the winner of the night was blind tasting, I don't want to say something about the wine because it is a game but I must to say I tried it for the first time and I loved so much.

We participated a Wine Tasting Tour in Ljubljana with Boris. It was a great time to be there. We really enjoyed. It was a unique experience to know about the wine industry in Slovenia. If you are interested in wine, you must join. This activity is very nice for the first night in the city as a tourist. The place is very nicely decorated and Boris has all the information about wine and Slovenia. He is a well-known person. Also, the blind test is very special. You will never know. :)
