Welcome to the Olive Oil Museum, located in the charming town of Škrip on the island of Brač. Established in 1864, our museum offers a captivating exploration of the rich history and tradition of olive oil production in the region.

At the museum, visitors can immerse themselves in the traditional process of olive oil production. You'll find fascinating exhibits including an olive mill, olive press, and an array of historical tools used for the transport, production, and storage of olive oil. Access and Location
The Olive Oil Museum is approximately 9 km from the Supetar ferry port, making it easily accessible by car or local bus. We strive to create a welcoming environment for all, including children and pets.
Preserving History
Since its founding in 1864, the museum has played an essential role in preserving the cultural significance of olive oil production on Brač. After several generations, the Krstulović family’s legacy was revived in 2013 when Kruno Cukrov and his family transformed the old oilery into a museum, celebrating the island's rich agricultural heritage.

Super tolles Museum. Uns wurde alles auf deutsch erklärt. Das Olivenöl schmeckt so lecker, wir wollen nie wieder ein anderes Öl benutzen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich.

Muzej obraća pažnju na jezik turista, ako se traži tura na hrvatskom na red se čeka do besvesti. Povedite računa i o turistima iz okoline. Veoma razočarani napustili bez marende i saznanja o maslinama, možda bi i mi iz okoline ostvili koji €€€.😡

This was such a wonderful experience. For only 7€ you get a hands-on tour, a private tour guide, and a tasting. We spent almost an hour here and it was the best part of our day in Brač. Maurizio was an amazing guide with such a friendly, welcoming attitude.

I’ve been here three times and it was amazing. This place was started by a man who decided to make a museum out of an old house used for making oil that his family owned. It was an amazing experience and learned something new every time I’ve been here. The food you can get for afterwards is amazing and you get a choice of 3 different options. All of the parts of the meal are fresh made and traditional to the island. It is absolutely amazing definitely recommend to anyone that visits the island of Brač.

Pravi primjer truda, rada i očuvanje dugogodišnje tradicije jedne obitelji. Vodič koji nas je vodio kroz muzej bio je vrlo ljubazan, cijela prezentacija zanimljiva i edukativna. Na kraju imate mogućnost kupiti njihove domaće proizvode koji su za prste polizati. Jedno divno iskustvo i sve preporuke!

Sono rimasta contenta della visita e della degustazione finale... se non fossimo andati subito dopo pranzo avrei preso un altro menù più vario. Tutto molto buono e il personale è accogliente, cordiale e disponibile. La visita è disponibile in inglese e croato.

Wonderfully restored olive mill, we had an absolutely brilliant tour (in perfect English) about the origins and legacy of this gorgeous historical monument. Would absolutely recommend getting the tasting menu after your tour, the food and service was excellent. A real highlight of our trip to Brac.
